Способ установки и приварки расходуемого электрода вакуумной дуговой печи, включающий загрузку расходуемого электрода в кристаллизатор, центрирование электрода по оси кристаллизатора с последующей приваркой его к огарку, а также контроль данных операций, отличающийся тем, что контроль производится измерением напряженности магнитного поля тока короткого замыкания в системе электрод-кристаллизатор.1.
