Способ термохимической переработки твердых отходов, включающий подачу воздуха и отходов в зону сжигания, последовательное проведение сушки отходов, пиролиза и сжигания кокса, размещение и обработку образующейся золы, отличающийся тем, что воздух в зону сжигания кокса подают в направлении сверху вниз, а подачу твердых отходов произвоят снизу вверх, при этом пиролиз твердых отходов осуществляют путем прогрева продуктами сгорания кокса предварительно просушенной массы твердых отходов, а сушку твердых отходов осуществляют путем прогрева твердых отходов смесью продуктов сгорания кокса и образовавшихся пиролизных газов, затем пиролизные газы сжигают путем их перемешивания с избыточным объемом регенеративно нагретого воздуха.1.
