В данной композиции подобран состав ингредиентов, содержащих в основном эфирные масла с сильным и приятным ароматом. В состав душицы, наряду с эфирными маслами, входят также аскорбиновая кислота и флавоноиды, а пижмы - также флавоноиды, органические кислоты и алкалоиды. При совместном применении вышеприведенного компонентного состава эти соединения проявляют синергетическое действие на антиоксидантном и фитонцидном уровнях, в результате чего эфирное анисовое масло, обладающее антисептическим действием, препятствует окислению эфирных масел душицы, пижмы и сохранению всего ароматоносящего комплекса в готовом изделии.
