TECHNICAL FIELD TO WHICH THE INVENTION BELONGS

[0001] This invention in a broader sense refers to the field of sanitary devices such as showers, bathtubs, bathtub-shower combinations, shower-sauna and the like, which are equipped with a partition or cabin, and refers, in particular, to a system for removing stains, washing, drying and ironing clothes in these installations, and optionally to washing and drying dishes, as well as to a shower, bathtub, bathtub-shower combination, shower-sauna and the like that include such a system.

STATE OF THE ART

[0003] Until now, in every house there is at least one shower, one bathtub, one shower-tub combination, etc., ie. a sanitary device equipped with appropriate means for supplying and supplying water. These installations, however, can be equipped differently in terms of water distribution mode, but they are, in any case, intended for the use for which they were constructed, that is, for personal cleaning and care.

[0004] In the best case, when, if present, it can be used as a container of water for washing and rinsing laundry and clothes in it where there is no, or where it is not convenient to use, a normal washing machine.

[0005] In addition to the usual washing machines with a rotating drum, alternative devices and systems for washing and drying clothes are known in the art, which are equipped with means for pouring and draining water, independently of sanitary devices in houses. These devices and systems allow washing and drying of clothes that are kept spread out and stationary.

[0006] For example, the European patent EP 2209936B1, granted to the applicant, describes a device of this type placed in its compartment-type construction, which can be placed in a different room from the bathroom.

[0007] German application no. DE 102008039669 describes a device provided with a stand for hanging clothes to be washed. The device includes a tube equipped with nozzles, which is vertically movable to direct the washing water onto the clothes.

[0008] Documents DE 1785612, WO 2009/057177 of the same applicant, and GB 1280060 are representatives of the state of the art.

[0009] Furthermore, normally, domestic sanitary devices such as showers and tubs are not used for washing dishes. In fact, dishwashers are provided for this use.

SUBJECT AND ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

[0010] The object of this invention is to create conditions for the use of the aforementioned sanitary devices not only for personal cleaning and care, but also for other uses, suitable for automatic and programmable washing of clothes or more suitable for stain removal, washing, drying and ironing of clothes and laundry, otherwise for washing dishes.

[0011] Another object of this invention is then to provide a sanitary device, such as a shower, tub, shower-tub combination or similar, which completes the system for washing linen or dishes without preventing or limiting the normal use of the installation itself, or, better, also with the possibility of using the water supplied by the above-mentioned system for personal cleaning, even with a massaging effect.

[0012] A further object of the present invention is then to provide a sanitary device of the type described above, which enables efficient cleaning of clothes also in particularly dirty areas.

[0013] These objects are achieved according to the present invention with the system according to patent claim 1. Further characterizing aspects of the same machine will be apparent from the remaining dependent claims.

[0014] Analogously, the protective cabin of the sanitary device of the above-mentioned type, especially in the domestic area, is used as a working chamber for cycles of stain removal, washing, drying and ironing of clothes and laundry in general, which can work sequentially or independently.

[0015] A supporting frame is positioned in the cabin, which is equipped with means for receiving, heating and managing the delivery of washing liquid and rinsing liquid, whereby these means can be arranged in a section placed in the upper part of said supporting frame or in another part, in any case so as not to limit the usual use of the sanitary device, without distinction, shower or bathtub.

[0016] Conveniently, the hangers or mannequins, intended for maintaining the clothes to be treated, are carried out on the supporting frame in a removable, or unfoldable, or folded way, in relation to the frame itself when not in use.

[0017] Preferably, the supporting frame of the system that is the subject of the present invention can also be folded, for example like a book, or is foldable, for example in a telescopic way, or is otherwise completely or partially removable in order to clean the entrance to the sanitary device and to allow the user to enjoy it during normal use, for example when showering or bathing.

[0018] Additionally and conveniently, the hangers or mannequins can be assembled differently and have different dimensions to facilitate insertion into the clothes they will hold, their adaptation to the clothes they will hold and at the same time to keep the clothes spread and stretched because their front and back parts will remain at some distance and will not wrinkle during the washing and drying cycle.

[0019] In general, washing is carried out with water or some other washing liquid, for example it is dry washing.

[0020] For the sake of simplicity, water will be referred to below, suggesting that the washing liquid may also be different.

[0021] In order to deliver washing water and rinsing water to the clothes to be treated, at least one spray tube is provided, which is movable in relation to the clothes and is provided with nozzles that deliver jets of water in the direction of the clothes.

[0022] Preferably, the spray nozzles are two with the spray nozzles of the tube facing in the opposite direction to that of the other tube, in any case directed at the garment. The pressure of the mentioned jets of water, which is directed in the direction of the clothes, can be adjusted. With such an arrangement of nozzles and pressurized jets, the supplied water can flow through the fabric forming a treated garment for a more precise and deeper wash, which allows saving water and detergent and reducing treatment time.

[0023] Then, conveniently, the nozzles and/or each spray pipe can be arranged and controlled in groups and each group of nozzles can be selectively supplied with washing water independently of the nozzles of every other group, with the additional advantage that it can perform targeted washing of only one piece of clothing also among those that the system can accept, or only some parts of the clothing that are dirtier than other parts.

[0024] Furthermore, at least some of the nozzles and/or each spray tube may also be rotatable to intensify the washing efficiency. Additionally, nozzles for delivering jets of water in a direction within the garment to be treated may also be provided, as well as multiple rotating spray nozzles to precisely direct the jets of water, aimed at the dirtier parts of the garment to be washed. For example, these features are particularly advantageous for efficiently cleaning dirtier areas of clothing, such as shirt cuffs and collars.

[0026] The system according to the present invention can be programmed to perform different washing cycles as in conventional washing machines with a rotating drum, and to perform drying of the clothes when the washing cycle is finished.

[0028] The interior of the working chamber of the system can also be divided into several areas or partitions, like on a chess board, with the possibility of activating and starting the targeted treatment of clothes only on some of its parts. This aspect allows, on the other hand, to be able to perform stain removal treatments, only with suitable products and where the clothes have some stains.

[0029] Compartment schemes may be rearranged by the manufacturer or may be programmed from time to time after mapping the garments inserted into the working chamber. Mapping can be performed by the user manually, or during installation by means of optical readers placed on the spray pipes and a control unit that reconstructs the virtual layout of the clothes based on the signals sent by the optical sensors.

[0030] In one embodiment, for example, the working chamber is conceptually divided into 20 compartments, and on each of them the washing is specific and intended for the corresponding part of the clothing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0045] In Fig. 1 and 2 of the mentioned drawing, the shower installation is marked in its entirety with the call sign 10, which includes the cabin 11 that rises from the shower tub 12, and in which the means for supply and delivery of water for personal use are provided.

[0046] In one example of application, the system according to this invention is integrated into such a shower installation 10, using that cabin 11 as a working chamber 14 for cycles of stain removal, washing, drying and ironing, if necessary, of clothes and laundry.

[0047] Then, in the working chamber 14, defined by the shower cabin 11, a supporting frame is placed, preferably transversely and parallel to, that is in front of, its entrance door, which is composed of at least two side pillars 15 connected to the upper transverse beam 16.

Furthermore, the clothes are not left submerged in hot water and exposed to detergents for a long time, which has the advantage of reducing the risk of losing its color when dyed and releasing wash water with less pollution from detergents and stains.

Claims (21)

Patent claims 1. A system for treating clothes by removing stains, washing, drying and ironing in sanitary devices selected from the group consisting of showers, bathtubs, shower-tub and shower-sauna combinations and the like, each of which has a protective compartment, whereby the system includes: - a frame composed of at least two columns (15) connected to the upper transverse beam (16) placed transversely inside the mentioned section; - means on said frame for hanging clothes to be treated on them, said means consisting of hangers or mannequins (18); - means (19, 20) for supplying and delivering fluid for washing and rinsing clothes worn on said hangers or mannequins (18); and - means for delivering air flow to the said cabin for drying and ironing said clothes, while they are hung by said hangers or mannequins, wherein said hangers or mannequins (18) for the clothes to be treated are of different dimensions, thicknesses and shapes to hold clothes of different sizes and to keep each garment spread and stretched so that the front parts thereof are separated from the rear parts; it is important that the system is further provided with one or more rotating spray nozzles (21), which pass over and are directed to dirtier places, especially the collar and/or cuffs of the clothes being washed; and wherein the system further comprises one or more nozzles for delivering jets of water to at least some spread and stretched garments on hangers or mannequins (18); and that the laundry can be programmed to attack dirty areas with jets, or brushes if present, for as long as it takes to get the desired cleanliness. 2. System according to claim 1, in which said hangers or mannequins (18) are removable, or foldable, or can be folded towards the posts and/or the cross arm of the supporting frame, when not in use, so as not to interfere with the use of the sanitary device as such. 3. A system according to claims 1 and 2, in which the washing fluid is water, and the said supporting frame is a combination with at least one section (17) in which equipment for the delivery and distribution of water under pressure in the direction of clothes, filling and distribution of detergent, water heating, removal of washing water in the direction of the sanitary device drain, as well as a hot air generator for drying and in the case of ironing clothes, and control instruments are placed. 4. A system according to the preceding claims, in which the means for delivering and distributing washing and rinsing water include at least one spray pipe (19) with nozzles (20) for delivering jets of water in the direction of the clothes to be treated, wherein said spray pipe (19) can be horizontal or vertical, and vertically movable in relation to the hanging and stretched clothes on hangers or mannequins (18). 5. A system according to claim 4, in which the means for delivering and distributing washing and rinsing water comprise two or more spray pipes with nozzles for delivering jets of water in opposite directions, said pipes being vertically movable relative to the hung and stretched clothes on hangers or mannequins (18). 6. A system according to claim 5, in which said spray pipes (19) are driven vertically and can move in parallel or independently of each other. 7. A method according to any of the preceding claims, in which each spray tube (19) comprises groups of water spray nozzles - fed selectively or simultaneously. 8. A system according to one of claims 4 to 7, in which means are provided for causing rotation of at least some of the water nozzles, and for selectively changing the pressure of the supplied water. 9. A system according to any of the preceding claims, provided with means for directing and stopping selectively at least some jets of water onto a garment or some parts of a particularly soiled garment to be treated. 10. A system according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the cabin within the sanitary device is virtually divided into areas or compartments for shooting and directing jets of washing liquid into each of the compartments according to a suitable programmable and selected wash cycle for insisting on one garment or specific parts of particularly dirty clothing. 11. A system according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising at least one nozzle for manually or automatically spraying the stain removal fluid onto specific parts of the garment to be treated. 12. A system according to any of the preceding claims comprising means for programming different work cycles by selecting the number or movement of jets and pressure of washing water and drying and ironing time of hanging and stretched clothes on hangers or mannequins (18). 13. A system according to claim 1, comprising means for supplying dry cleaning fluid and means for collecting and reusing said fluid. 14. A system according to any of the preceding claims, in which said frame (15, 16) can be folded, or is foldable, or at least partially removable to enable effective enjoyment of the sanitary device as such. 15. A system according to any of the preceding claims, comprising one or more utensil carrying elements (100) (101) designed to hold the utensil in relation to the means (19, 20) for supplying/delivering the washing fluid on respective surfaces orthogonal to the respective jet of said fluid. 16. A system according to claim 15, in which the supporting elements (100) of the dishes (101) are removable, in whole or in part, from said compartment, or are foldable or can be folded to enable the use of the sanitary device as such. 17. A system according to any of the preceding claims, comprising sensors for detecting the shape and/or dimension and/or the presence of a garment or container (101), and a control unit programmed to process the signals received from said sensors and to adjust the operation of the operation system via feedback. 18.
