Abstract

A flexible, impervious and incinerable single-use covering (Fig. 1) for a conventional bedpan is disclosed. The covering may be adapted to the receptacles into which it is inserted, and is made of two polygonal sheets (1) joined together by welds (4, 6, 9, 11) except along the open top edge (2) provided with sliding closures (13) for adjusting and sealing the covering. Said covering contains a gelling agent (8) which prevents liquid leaks and thus makes the covering safe to handle while reducing the risk of contamination and pollution.
