Abstract

The plastic bedpan has dimension of 45 cm. in length, 30 cm. in principal height and 16 m. in height at the inner edge. A disposable liner of bio-degradable material may be inserted into the pan, the liner being either transparent or opaque, plain or coloured, and may be disposed of in a normal W.C. It is recommended that the liner be put in place by first setting its shallowest part at the handle end of the pan. When the liner is in position in the pan, a 2 cm border is to be folded down on to the pan edge, which will make for easier handling later.
