Abstract

The invention concerns a scouring pad comprising a ball (10) of looped scouring wires. The ball consists of substantially concentric wire windings (12), so that it looks substantially like doughnut-shaped ring. The pad comprises means for retaining the windings relative to one another, comprising at least a maintaining band (20), which encloses a section of the ring and arranged substantially along a meridian of the strand formed by the ring.
