Abstract

The system has a dimensionally stable, flexible base body (10) placed around limbs adjoining an ankle joint, and comprising closure devices (2). The base body is fixed to the limbs adjoining the joint by the closure devices. Fastening units (80) removably attaches a dimensionally stable outer frame (70), extending over the joint, to the base body. The outer frame is braced on the limbs, and the base body has an outer side arranged form closure element for fixing a part of the outer frame. The form closure element is designed as a recess.
