Abstract
The system (10) has a combined radiation- and convection part (24) is arranged between a combustion boiler (12) and a dryer. The radiation- and convection part is formed such that flow velocity of exhaust gas (20) lies above 22 m/second in a radial inner rising channel (26) and below 19 m/second in a downstream channel (32) to make the radiation- and convection part to work as an ash separator. The radiation-and convection part is provided with an automatic ash drain. The downstream channel radially surrounds the rising channel. An independent claim is also included for a method for drying wood disintegration products.
