Description

The subject of the invention is a basket-type transport package, in particular for bottles, provided with a vertical handle located in the center, reaching the bottom and extending along the entire length of the package, and consisting of folded blank panels, wherein the outer handle panels are connected by fold lines, and the inner handle flaps are joined by fold lines along the edge of the inner flaps opposite the edge of the handle to the incision-formed dividing panels of the package divider, some of the dividing flaps being joined together. with glued panels, creating compartments for individual bottles when folded.

One of the many types of beverage bottle packages is what is known as a "basket" package in which side, front, and bottom panels are joined to each other attached to a handle in the center of a package made of a plurality of panels glued together, and a basket package in addition. it is usually provided with dividing panels which form compartments for the individual bottles.

Many varieties of basket-type packaging are known. In one of these variations, known from US Pat. No. 2,733,832, the front panels and the side panels of the blank are connected to each other, one or both of the end panels being in the form of a continuous panel, which is advantageous in that the panel this one is usually provided with advertising and identification inscriptions. For this reason, the frontal lobe should be free from creases and fold lines.

In blanks of similar basket-type shipping packages, the handle panels abut the front and side panels, however, they cannot be completely separated from the rest of the blank, and it is necessary to join the clip panel to the front panel along a vertical fold line. Accordingly, one side of the handle panel must be of greater height than the other, and such lack of symmetry is considered not to meet the aesthetic requirements of the packaging.

US Pat. No. 2,920,791 discloses a shipping package for twelve identical articles (e.g. bottles) arranged in two rows, six bottles in each row. The package is provided with a centrally disposed vertical handle, reaching the bottom and extending along the entire length of the package, formed by multiple layers of folded blank panels. There are dividing panels between the longitudinal side panels of the package and the central handle, creating compartments for the packed items, surrounding them along their entire height and protecting them from damage. The packaging is made of a single blank that is bent and glued together with a special device. Before the articles are placed therein, the package is transported in a flattened state, and before the articles are packed, it is simply disassembled and spatially shaped. The design of the package allows inscriptions and illustrations to be placed on all side panels and on the handle, with the entire print being applied to only one side of the blank. The package is adapted to the dimensions of a standardized transport box for twenty-four articles (e.g. bottles) in which two packages according to the invention are housed after the removal of the dividing wall. The package is also easily adapted to hold ten, eight or six bottles.

The disadvantage of this type of packaging is its high material consumption and complicated folding method, requiring many folding and gluing operations.

A structurally similar transport package of the basket type is also known, provided with strip-type dividing panels, where in the blank the strip panels are placed between the handle panel and the side panels, separating the bottles from each other only at a small height. In such a solution it is not possible to extend the dividing panels into the depth of the package because they are part of the side panels of a certain height.

The object of the invention is to provide a structure of such a basket-type transport package that will eliminate the disadvantages of previously known packages, and at the same time ensure the continuity of the end walls and symmetrical positioning in relation to the handle panel, as well as the possibility of extending the dividing panels into the package depth. The package according to the invention should also be less material-consuming compared to known packages and provide a simpler way of folding it.

This aim is achieved in the construction of a basket-type transport package for bottles according to the invention, which is characterized in that its blank is composed of a pair of front panels, alternately connected by fold lines with a pair of side panels, and of the adjacent parts of the upper edge of the front panels - inner panels. separated from the respective side panels by a cut line and from the respective panels by a cut line ending a few millimeters from the side edge of the inner panel of the handle, forming a narrow joint connecting the inner panel of the handle to the frontal panel. The handle is formed by two pairs of outer handle panels of the same height placed next to each other, connected by fold lines to the inner handle panels. The package divider assembly of the dividing panels extends the inner panels of the handle away from the fold line.

The package dividing unit connected to the inner panels of the handle consists of two adjacent arrays of dividing panels, partially cut from the central part of the extension of each of the inner panels of the handle in the opposite direction to the fold line and connected to them by fold lines parallel to the side edges of the respective inside. the handle panel, and two adjacent dividing panels, respectively connected to the inner panels of the handle by fold lines. Each of the dividing panels is provided with a small glued panel at its end and connected to it by a fold line, while each of the dividing panels is connected at its end with a glued panel by a fold line. Each of the two inner tabs of the handle is on the opposite side of the dividing panels connected by fold lines to the glued panels.

Glued panels, connected with respectively fold lines with the inner panels of the handle, constitute one whole, joining both inner panels of the handle and are mutually separated by an elongated opening.

The width of the coupling portion connecting the outer handle panel to the front panel is preferably 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm.

The side edge of the outer grip panel is preferably connected to the upper edge of the front panel by an arc.

The front panels of the package according to the invention are on the side opposite to the outer panels of the handle, connected by fold lines to the bottom panels, and the side panels are connected by fold lines to the bottom panels, provided with folded lines connected with them, glued panels and locking tabs, all lines the bends are located along one straight line.

In the folded-up state of the package, the dividing panels are folded perpendicular to the plane of the inner panels of the handle and connected by glued panels to the respective side panels.

Due to the described structure of the transport package according to the invention, a considerable saving of material is achieved and the assembly of the package is simplified, and thus a corresponding reduction in the production costs compared to similar packages known to date. Moreover, the package according to the invention allows easy adjustment of the height of the dividing panels to fully protect the bottles separated by them from breaking. This adaptation consists in the appropriate expansion of the distribution unit connected to the inner panels of the handle. In addition, thanks to the use of bottom panels connected with the front and side panels of the package, after folding and gluing the package, adequate rigidity is obtained, eliminating the possibility of deformation of the package under the weight of the bottles with beverages contained therein.

The blank shown in Fig. 1, preferably made of cardboard or some other sheet material, consists of a front panel 12, a side panel 14, a side panel 16 and a side panel 18, the panels being joined together along a fold line 20. , 22 and 24. In addition, laterally attached to the side panel 18 is a fold line 26 - glued panel 28. Moreover, to the panels 12, 14, 16 and 18 they are joined along fold lines 38, 40, 42 and 44 - the lower panels 30, 32, 34 and 36, which after folding and interconnecting the package bottom wall. The bottom panel 32 is further provided with a glued panel 46 connected thereto by a fold line 48, and the bottom panel 36 with a glued panel 50 connected thereto by a fold line 52. Adjacent to the frontal lobe 12 and side lobe 14 are the outer handle flap 58, separated from the side flap 14 by a cut line 60, and the frontal flap 12 by a cut line 62. At the same time, the side edge of the outer handle flap 58 connects to the side edge of the frontal flap 12 via arc 64.

The cut line 62 does not extend to the side edge of the outer panel of the handle 58 (Fig. 1), the distance of the end of the cut line 62 from the side edge of the outer panel of the handle 58 is a few millimeters, preferably 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm, forming no. a cut fastener 66 of the blank which has a width of several millimeters sufficient to maintain the connection between the outer grip panel 58 and the front panel 12 while handling the blank prior to bending and gluing it. The outer panel of the handle 58 is provided with an elongated opening 68 for the insertion of fingers, the upper edge of the opening being connected by a fold line to a foldable flap 70 for protecting the fingers.

Likewise adjacent to the frontal panel 16 and side panel 18 are the outer handle flap 72, separated from the side flap 18 by a cut line 74, and to the frontal flap 16 by a cut line 76. The side edge of the outer flap 72 connects to the side edge of the frontal flap 16 via an arc. 80.

The cut line 76 separating the outer handle flap 72 from the frontal flap 16 does not extend to the side edge of the outer handle flap 72, but ends a few millimeters therefrom, preferably from 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm. The folding of the blank according to Fig. 1 begins by folding the inner and outer handles 58 and 86 and 72 and 92 along fold lines 88 and 94 respectively. As a result of this folding, the glued flap 130 is joined to the inner surface of the front flap 12, and the glued panels 102 and 110 - with the inside surface of side panel 14 according to the first folding phase shown in Fig. 2. At the same time, the glued panel 134 is joined to the inside surface of the front panel 16. The opening 136 'at the boundary of glued panels 110 and 134 is then located along the fold line 22 connecting the side panel 14 to the front panel 16. At the same time, the glued panels 118 and 126 are joined to the inner surface of the side panel 18.

In the next folding phase (Fig. 3), the bottom panels 30, 32, 34 and 36 are folded along fold lines 38, 40, 42 and 44, after which the glued panel 46 is folded along the fold line 48, and the glued panel 50 is folded along the fold line. folds 52.

Adhesive is then applied to the surfaces of the glued panels 46 and 50, after which the glued panel 28 is folded along the fold line 26, and glue is also applied to its surface. Adhesive is then applied to one or both surfaces of the tabs 86 and 92, and the entire blank is folded along the fold line 22 to form the folded flat shipping package shown in Figure 4.

In order to open and spatially shape the transport package according to the invention and to accommodate the packed articles, in particular bottles, its outer edges running along the fold lines 22 and 26 are moved towards each other, so that the front panels 12 and 16 assume positions perpendicular to the side panels. 14 and 18, and the bottom panels 30, 32, 34 and 36 are folded downwards to form the bottom of the package. An advantage of the transport package according to the invention is that when designing the package, the height of the dividing panels 98, 106, 114 and 122 can be selected according to the type of bottles, which can be easily achieved by correspondingly extending or shortening the inner panels 86 and 92 by adjusting the height of these dividing panels 98, 106. , 114 and 122 to the appropriate height of the bottles placed in the package.
