Abstract
A fluidized bed combustion furnace (1) equipped with a combustion chamber (6) that burns a raw material while the raw material and a fluid material form a fluidized bed, wherein the fluidized bed combustion furnace is equipped with an electric burner (4) that heats the fluid material to a temperature at which the raw material is able to burn continuously, and the output direction of the electric burner (4) intersects the direction of flow of the fluid material.
