SE REFIERE A LA FORMULACION QUE INCLUYE: a) UN POLIMERO DE ACIDO POLICARBOXILICO DE ESLABONES TRANSVERSALMENTE CRUZADOS, DONDE POR LO MENOS, EL 80% DE LOS MONOMEROS, DE LOS CUALES EL POLIMERO ESTA FORMADO, CONTIENE UNA FUNCION CARBOXILICA; b) UN AGENTE ANTI-ENFERMEDADES DE TRANSMISION SEXUAL TAL COMO N-9; ESTA FORMULACION ES APLICADO EN LA SUPERFICIE DE LA MUCOSA; EL AGENTE DE ESLABONAMIENTO TRANSVERSALMENTE CRUZADO TAL COMO DIVINIL GLICOL, DIVINIL BENCENO ENTRE OTROS, DEBERA ENCONTRARSE PRESENTE EN TAL CANTIDAD QUE PROPORCIONE BIOADHESION, PARA PERMITIR AL SISTEMA PERMANECER ADHERIDO A LA SUPERFICIE DEL EPITELIO DE PREFERENCIA UN PERIODO DE 24 A 48 HORAS; EL NIVEL DE BIOADHESIVIDAD ES USUALMENTE OBTENIDO CUANDO EL AGENTE DE ENTRELAZAMIENTO TRANSVERSALMENTE CRUZADO SE ENCUENTRA PRESENTE EN ALREDEDOR DE 0,1% A DE 6% EN PESO DEL POLIMERO, CON ALREDEDOR DEL 1% A 2% EN PESO COMO CIFRAS PREFERIDAS.
