Abstract
Se refieren a composiciones y metodos utiles para tratar la enfermedad de Huntington. En algunas modalidades, se proporciona acidos nucleicos de interferencia (por ejemplo, miARNs artificiales) dirigidos al gen de la huntingtina (HTT) y metodos para tratar la enfermedad de Huntington utilizando el mismo. En particular, se refiere a un acido nucleico aislado que comprende un transgen que codifica un miARN monocatenario maduro, en el que la secuencia de acido nucleico del transgen que codifica el miARN monocatenario maduro comprende la secuencia expuesta en SEQ ID NO: 8, y esta flanqueada por una secuencia de esqueleto de miARN heterologa, en el que el miARN se hibrida especificamente e inhibe la expresion de la huntingtina humana (HTT).
