Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para la purificacion de sintegas crudo que comprende las etapas de (a) poner en contacto el sintegas crudo con agua para eliminar el hollin, lo que da como resultado agua residual rica en hollin y un sintegas con poco hollin; (b) enfriar el sintegas con poco hollin resultante de la etapa (a) hasta una temperatura en el rango de 20 a 50 °C; y (c) poner en contacto el sintegas con poco hollin enfriado resultante de la etapa (b) con agua para eliminar el HCN y el NH3, lo que da como resultado un sintegas limpio y agua residual rica en HCN/NH3, en donde: (i) en la etapa (a) el sintegas crudo se enfria por debajo de su punto de rocio a causa de su contacto con el agua; (ii) el agua residual rica en HCN/NH3 resultante de la etapa (c) se hace pasar a traves de al menos una columna de extraccion, lo que da como resultado una corriente de agua limpia y una corriente de residuos; y (iii) una parte de al menos 50 % (v/v) de la corriente de agua limpia se recicla a la etapa (c).
