Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo para controlar la formacion de espuma durante la lixiviacion atmosferica o sustancialmente atmosferica de un sulfuro de metal. En algunas modalidades, el metodo puede comprender las etapas de (a) producir un concentrado de sulfuro de metal mediante flotacion; (b) producir una corriente de colas mediante flotacion; y, (e) desviar una porcion o toda de tal corriente de colas producidas a un circuito de lixiviacion atmosferica o sustancialmente atmosferica de sulfuro. Un diagrama de flujo de recuperacion de metal tambien se describe. En algunas modalidades, el diagrama de flujo de recuperacion de metal puede comprender una operacion unitaria que comprende: (a) un concentrador de sulfuro que comprende un circuito de flotacion, el circuito de flotacion produce un corriente de concentrado de sulfuro de metal, y una corriente de colas; y, (b) un circuito de lixiviacion atmosferica o sustancialmente atmosferica de sulfuro de metal. El concentrador de sulfuro puede ser operativamente conectado al circuito de lixiviacion atmosferica o sustancialmente atmosferica de sulfuro de metal mediante ambas de tal corriente de concentrado de sulfuro de metal, y tal corriente de colas
