Abstract

En un método para recuperar un concentrado de sulfuro de cobre mediante flotación por espuma a partir de un mineral que contiene un sulfuro de hierro, se agrega peróxido de hidrógeno a la pulpa de mineral acondicionada antes o durante la flotación, la concentración de oxígeno disuelto se determina en la pulpa de mineral después de la adición del peróxido de hidrógeno y la cantidad de peróxido de hidrógeno agregada se ajusta para mantener una concentración de oxígeno disuelto de 1 a 5 veces la concentración objetivo predeterminada, a fin de ajustar la cantidad de peróxido de hidrógeno a los cambios en la composición del mineral.
