EL POTENCIAL REDOX DE LA LIXIVIACION SE REGULA MEDIANTE UN AGENTE OXIDANTE AL RANGO DE 400-600 mV CON REFERENCIA A UN ELECTRODO DE Ag/AgCl Y EL pH SE AJUSTA EN EL RANGO DE 0.2-1, DESPUES DE LO CUAL EL COBRE, EL FIERRO Y EL ARSENICO EN LOS MINERALES CON ARSENICO SE DISUELVEN Y LOS METALES DEL GRUPO DEL ORO Y/O PLATINO UNIDOS A ESTOS MINERALES SE LIBERAN; LA PIRITA Y LOS METALES DEL GRUPO DEL ORO Y/O PLATINO QUE ELLA CONTIENE ASI COMO TAMBIEN LOS METALES DEL GRUPO ORO Y/O PLATINO LIBRES Y EL AZUFRE PERMANECEN EN EL RESIDUO DE LA LIXIVIACION. LA SOLUCION DE CLORURO CUPRICO QUE CONTIENE FIERRO Y ARSENICO SE NEUTRALIZA PARA PRECIPITAR ESTOS, DESPUES DE LO CUAL LA SOLUCION DE CLORURO CUPRICO LIBRE DE FIERRO Y DE ARSENICO NEUTRALIZADA SE LLEVA A UNA ETAPA DE EXTRACCION LIQUIDO-LIQUIDO, EN DONDE EL COBRE ES RECUPERADO EN UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE ACIDO SULFURICO Y ES LLEVADO A LA ELECTRO REFINACION PARA RECUPERAR COBRE ELEMENTAL Y EL REFINADO DE LA EXTRACCION LIQUIDO-LIQUIDO ES LLEVADO DE NUEVO A LA LIXIVIACION DEL CONCENTRADO. ADEMAS, EL RESIDUO DE LA LIXIVIACION SE SOMETE A UNA FLOTACION DE AZUFREWHERE THE CONCENTRATE IS LEACHED IN AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF COPPER CHLORIDE AND ALKALINE CHLORIDE THAT CONTAINS HYDROCHLORIC ACID AND THE SULFUR REMAINS IN THE RESIDUE FORMED IN THE LEACHING. THE REDOX POTENTIAL OF LEACHING IS REGULATED BY AN OXIDIZING AGENT IN THE RANGE OF 400-600 mV WITH REFERENCE TO AN ELECTRODE OF Ag / AgCl AND THE pH IS ADJUSTED IN THE RANGE OF 0.2-1, AFTER WHICH COPPER, IRON AND THE ARSENIC IN THE MINERALS WITH ARSENIC ARE DISSOLVED AND THE METALS OF THE GOLD AND / OR PLATINUM GROUP UNITED TO THESE MINERALS ARE RELEASED; THE PYRITE AND THE METALS OF THE GOLD AND / OR PLATINUM GROUP THAT IT CONTAINS AS WELL AS THE FREE METALS OF THE GOLD AND / OR PLATINUM GROUP AND THE SULFUR REMAIN IN THE RESIDUE OF THE LEACHING. THE CUPRIC CHLORIDE SOLUTION CONTAINING IRON AND ARSENIC IS NEUTRALIZED TO PRECIPIT THEM, AFTER WHICH THE NEUTRALIZED IRON AND ARSENIC FREE CUPRIC CHLORIDE SOLUTION IS TAKEN TO A STAGE OF EXTRACTION IN THE LIQUID-LIQUID RECOVERY. AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF SULFURIC ACID IS TAKEN TO THE ELECTRO REFINING TO RECOVER ELEMENTARY COPPER AND THE REFINATE FROM THE LIQUID-LIQUID EXTRACTION IS TAKEN BACK TO THE LEACHING OF THE CONCENTRATE. ALSO, THE RESIDUE FROM THE LEACHING IS SUBJECTED TO A FLOTATION OF SULFUR
