SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO DE PREPARACION DEL ACIDO 1-(2-ETIL-BUTIL)-CICLOHEXANOCARBOXILICO DE FORMULA (I) QUE COMPRENDE: A) HACER REACCIONAR UN DERIVADO DE ACIDO CICLOHEXANOCARBOXILICO DE FORMULA (II) CON UN AGENTE ALQUILANTE TAL COMO 1-BROMO-2-ETILBUTANO EN PRESENCIA DE UNA AMINA SECUNDARIA TAL COMO DIETILAMINA, UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO TAL COMO TETRAHIDROFURANO Y ALQUIL(C1-C6)-LITIO, CICLOALQUIL(C3-C6)-LITIO O FENIL-LITIO, DONDE Y ES UN METAL ALCALINO TAL COMO SODIO; B) PURIFICAR EL COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (I) POR EXTRACCION EN PRESENCIA DE UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA TAL COMO BICARBONATO SODICO, HIDROXIDO SODICO O UNA MEZCLA DE LOS MISMOS QUE TIENE UN pH ENTRE 7,5 Y 11.
