LA SUSPENSION ES SOMETIDA A UNA ETAPA DE SEPARACION LIQUIDO/SOLIDO PARA OBTENER UNA FILTRADO RESULTANTE DE OXIDACION CON PRESION Y UN RESIDUO SOLIDO CONTENIENDO UNA SAL BASICA DE SULFATO METALICO INSOLUBLE. LA SAL BASICA DE SULFATO METALICO ES LIXIVIADA EN UNA SEGUNDA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION CON UNA SOLUCION ACIDA DE SULFATO PARA DISOLVER LA SAL BASICA METALICA PARA PRODUCIR UN LICOR DE LIXIVIACION CONTENIENDO UN SULFATO METALICO, POR EJEMPLO, SULFATO DE COBRE EN LA SOLUCION Y UN RESIDUO SOLIDO FINAL. EL LICOR DE LIXIVIACION ES SEPARADO DEL RESIDUO SOLIDO Y SOMETIDO A UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE EXTRACCION CON DISOLVENTE PARA PRODUCIR UNA SOLUCION METALICA CONCENTRADA Y UN REFINADO CON EL METAL AGOTADO.
