Description
Claims (12)
- 붕소 화합물을 환원시킬 수 있는 금속 용융물에 환원제를 첨가시키고 ; 상기 금속 용융물에 상기 붕소 화합물을 첨가시킨 다음 ; 실질적인 평형이 성취되어 유지되고, 붕소 화합물이 환원되며, 상기 용융물과 그 내에서 붕소 합금이 형성될 수 있도록 상기 금속 용융물, 상기 환원제및 상기 붕소 화합물을 격렬하게 혼합시킴을 특징으로 하는, 금속 용융물의 제공을 포함하여 금속 용융물 내에서 붕소화합물로 부터 붕소를 현장 환원시키고 금속 용융물과 붕소를 합금시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 붕소 화합물중 40중량% 이상의 붕소를 상기 금속 용융물과 합금시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 전술한 환원제가 알루미늄,규소,티탄,마그네슘,지르코늄,탄소,칼슘 및 희토류 금속중 적어도 하나임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 붕소 화합물이 산화붕소,붕산,붕사,메타붕산칼슘,휘붕광,라쏘라이트,울렉사이트,프로버타이트,인더라이트,커어나이트,쿠르나코바이트 및 싸쏘라이트중 적어도 하나임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 방법을 실질적으로 비산화성 분위기하에서 수행시킴을 특징으로하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 석회 및 규소를 포함하는 슬랙제를 상기 용융물에 첨가하는 단계를 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 고철을 전기로내에서 용융시키고 ; 용융고철을 혼합용기에 이송시키며 ; 용융고철,석회,붕소광과 철-규소,알루미늄 및 탄소중 적어도 하나를 혼합시킨 다음 ; 가스취입,자기교반 및 기계적혼합중 적어도 한가지 이상으로 격렬한 혼합을 행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 붕소합금 용융물을 고속 가동 급냉체 표면상에 용착시켜 금속 용융물의 스트립을 형성시킨 다음, 상기 스트립을 약 104℃/초 이상의 속도로 급냉시켜 무정형 물질로 경화시킴으로써, 붕소합금 용융물이 처리되어 무정형 물질을 제조함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 저질소함량의 붕소합금을 제조함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 환원제가 1/3 알루미늄과 2/3 규소임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 붕소 1.4 내지 15중량%, 질소 0.002중량% 미만, 탄소 약 0.2중량% 미만, 알루미늄 약 0.01중량% 미만 및 미량의 잔류원소-함유 철 잔류%로 조성됨을 특징으로 하는, 혼합용기와 함께 또는 단독으로 사용하는 염기성 산소로, 유도 전기로 및 전기로 그 현장에서 산출된 무정형 철-붕소 합금.
- 붕소 0.01중량% 이상, 질소 0.002중량% 미만, 탄소 약 0.2중량% 미만, 알루미늄 약 0.01중량% 미만, 규소 1 내지 10중량% 및 미량의 잔류 원소-함유 닉켈 잔류%로 조성됨을 특징으로 하는, 혼합 용기와 함께 또는 단독으로 사용하는 염기성 산소로, 유도전기로 및 전기로 그 현장에서 산출된 무정형 닉켈 붕소 합금.
