Description
Claims (10)
- 브랜칭(branching) 반응을 촉매화시키기에 충분한 양의 리튬 화합물 또는 세슘 화합물의 존재하에, 에폭시 수지를 브랜칭시키고, 목적하는 작용성이 수득될때까지 브랜칭 반응을 지속시킨 다음, 브랜칭 반응을 종결시킴을 특징으로 하여, 에폭시 수지의 작용성을 증가시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 리튬 화합물이 일반식 LimX(여기서, X는 음이온 성분이고, m은 음이온의 원자가이다)로 표시됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, X가 할라이드, 하이드록실, 무기산 또는 유기산의 음이온, 헤테로원자를 함유하는성분, 또는 -OR 또는 -R(여기서, R은 탄화수소 또는 불활성적으로 치환된 탄화수소이다)임을 특징으로하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 리튬 화합물을 브랜칭 반응 혼합물중의 에폭시 수지 성분 백만부당 리튬 0.1 내지300부(원소 리튬로서 계산됨)의 양으로 사용함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 브랜칭된 반응 생성물을 용융상태 또는 액체상태로 유지시키는데 필요한 온도에서 브랜칭 반응을 중지시키거나 반응속도를 효과적으로 감소시키는 탈활성화제를 가함으로써 브랜칭 반응을 종결시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 탈활성화제가 강 무기산 ; 무기산의 에스테르, 반 에스테르 또는 부분 에스테르 ; 무기산 무수물 ; 강유기산 ; 강 유기산의 에스테르 또는 강유기산의 무수물임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 탈활성화제가 알킬, 아릴 또는 아르알킬 설폰산 또는 이러한 산의 에스테르 또는 무수물임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 탈활성화제가 p-톨루엔 설폰산, 메틸 또는 에틸-p-톨루엔 설포네이트 및 p-톨루엔 설폰산 무수물임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 탈활성화제를, 사용된 브랜칭 촉매의 당량당 1당량 이상의 양으로 브랜칭 반응혼합물에 가함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 증진 촉매의 존재하에, 1분자량의 에폭시 수지의 공반응성 쇄 연장제와 증진 반응시켜 고분자량의 에폭시 수지를 제거하고, 동시에 또는 이어서 리튬 화합물 또는 세슘 화합물을 브랜칭 촉매로서 사용하여 동일한 반응계 내에서 에폭시 수지를 브랜칭시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
