Claims (4)
- 전면과 후면이 있는 액정 디스플레이의 후면에 위치된 확산판과; 상기 확산판 후면에 위치되며, 복수개의 발광 다이오드가 전면에 배열되어 있는 기판으로 구성된 백라이트 유닛을 갖는 액정 디스플레이에 있어서,팬(Fan)으로 흡입한 공기를 상기 기판의 후면으로 배출하여 상기 기판을 냉각시키는 냉각장치가 더 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛을 갖는 액정 디스플레이.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 냉각장치는,복수개의 발광 다이오드가 전면에 배열되어 있는 기판의 후면에 일면이 부착되며, 이면에 상호 이격된 복수개의 핀(Fin)들이 돌출되어 있는 배면판과;상기 복수개의 핀들의 끝단에 부착되어, 핀과 핀 사이에 공간을 형성시키는 가이드부재와;상기 배면판과 가이드부재 사이로 흡입된 공기를 배출시키도록, 상기 기판의 하부에 위치된 팬과;상기 액정 디스플레이와 가이드부재의 하부에 고정되고, 공기를 흡입하는 흡 입구를 가지며, 상기 팬이 내부에 장착된 팬 케이스로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛을 갖는 액정 디스플레이.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 흡입구는 상기 팬 케이스의 하부에 형성되어 있거나, 상기 액정 디스플레이의 전면과 평행하게 상기 팬 케이스의 전면에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛을 갖는 액정 디스플레이.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 한 항에 있어서,상기 팬은,횡류팬(Cross flow fan)인 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛을 갖는 액정 디스플레이.
