Claims (5)
- 전자장치에 입력시키기 위한 수동 스타일러스 시스템에 있어서, 수동 스타일러스는 영구자석을 사용하여 자기센서 시스템에 위치정보를 제공하는데, 상기 수동 스타일러스는 최소한 하나의 영구 자석으로 구성되며,최소한 하나의 영구자석의 위치를 감지하기 위한 자석센서 시스템에 있어서, 자기센서 시스템은 (1) 최소한 하나의 영구자석을 감지하고, (2) 기준점에 대한 초소한 하나의 영구자석의 위치를 결정하고, (3) 최소한 하나의 영구자석의 위치를 전송할 수 있는 여러개의 자기센서로 구성되며,또한 수동 스타일러스는 디스플레이 시스템으로 구성되는데 있어서, 디스플레이 시스템은 작동 범위 내에서 수동 스타일러스의 운동을 나타내는 디스플레이 시스템에 데이터를 표시하기 위해 최소한 하나의 영구자석의 위치를 이용하는 것을 특징으로하는 수동 스타일러스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 자기센서 시스템은 x,y 좌표정보를 제공하는 최소한 두 개의 자기센서로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동 스타일러스.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 시스템은 또한 수동 스타일러스의 위치를 결정하기 위한 원형-삼각형 분할법을 이용하는데, 최소한 두 개의 자기센서로부터 나온 데이터는 수동 스타일러스의 운동 혹은 기울기로 인해서 수동 스타일러스 위치의 결정에 있어서 부정확함을 줄이기 위해 원형-삼각형 분할법에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동 스타일러스.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 수동 스타일러스는수동 스타일러스의 구성요소를 하우징하는 스타일러스 몸체,잉크 카트리지,잉크 카트지리의 비잉크 단부에 배치된 액츄에이터,잉크 카트리지가 배치된 구멍을 갖는 잉크카트리지의 잉크단부에 인접해 있는 최소한 하나의 위치 자석,최소한 하나의 위치자석 및 스타일러스 선단부 사이에 있고 잉크 카트리지 주변에 배치된 스프링,액츄에이터가 통과할 수 있는 구멍을 갖고, 잉크 카트리지의 비잉크 단부 위체 배치된 트리거 자석,표면에 안쪽 원뿔형태의 홈과 위부 턱모양 부분을 갖으며 트리거 자석 위에 배치된 철와셔,기울어지도록 정지하고 있는 시그널링 자석(signalling magnet)으로 구성되는데, 하측표면은 안쪽 원뿔형태의 홈에 대해서 최소한 부분적으로 정지하고 있는데, 잉크 카트리지는 시그널링 자석을 경사진 위치에서 직립한 위치로 밀어서 하측표면이 외부 턱모양 부분에 부분적으로 정지해 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동 스타일러스.
- 영구자석을 갖는 스타일러스 시스템을 이용하는 전자장치에 입력하기 위한 방법에서, 상기 방법은(1) 영구자석과 자기센서 시스템을 갖는 스타일러스 몸체를 제공하고,(2) 자기센서 시스템을 이용하여 영구자석을 감지하고,(3) 기준점에 대한 영구자석의 위치를 결정하고,(4) 스타일러스 몸체에서 영구자석의 위치를 전달하는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
