Abstract
평균 입자 크기가 8 내지 14 ㎛ 이고, 비표면적이 40 내지 75 m2/g (BET) 이며, 증점 특성이 적은 5 내지 15 중량 % 의 침전된 실리카; 20 내지 55 중량 % 의 글리세린, 소르비톨 또는 그것들의 혼합물; 및 0.3 내지 1.0 중량 % 의, 결합제로서의 잔탄검을 함유하며, 점도가 10 - 100 Pa 인 액상 치아 세정제.
본 발명의 액상 치아 세정제는 10 Pa 이상의 유동점을 가지나, 이 때 낮은 전단력에서, 예컨대 압력을 탄력성있는 디스펜서에 가할 때, 용이하게 유동하기 시작한다.
Description
연마 성분, 예를 들어 침전된 실리카, 습윤제, 예컨대 글리세린 또는 소르비톨, 및 결합제, 예컨대 잔탄검을 함유하는 액상 치아 세정 조성물이 이미 종래 기술로부터 공지되어 있다 (참고예 : DE 42 22 739 A1, EP 543 442 B1 또는 US 5,178,869). 상기 치아 세정 조성물에 관한 문제는, 연마 성분의 안정한 분산에 관한 것으로, 생성물이 플라스틱 용기로부터 용이하게 제거 및 분산될 수 있도록 전혀 유동성 손실이 없으면서, 연마 성분이 저장 중에 침전되어서는 안된다. 디스펜서 내 고유 중량의 전단 효과 하에 조성물이 자유롭게 유동되게 된다해도, 레스트에서 두꺼워, 예컨대 칫솔 상에서 매우 천천히 칫솔모로 가라앉을 수 있다.
예컨대 EP 543 442 B1 는, 극도로 낮은 폴리올 함량을 제안하는 반면, US 5,178,869 는 요구되는 방향으로 유동학적 거동에 영향을 미치기 위한, 1 내지 60 Pa (20 ℃) 의 항복점을 개시하고 있다. DE 42 22 739 A1 에서는, 점성 안정성이, 계면활성제, 히드로콜로이드 및 폴리글리콜의 어느 정도의 첨가에 의해 달성된다. 그러나 치아 보호 조성물은, 칫솔에 사용시 칫솔모들 사이에 가라앉게 되며, 2 내지 10 Pa.s 의 점도를 가진다.
그러나 점도가 10 내지 100 Pa.s (20 ℃) 의 범위 내가 되고, 또한 그 등방 조성물의 하한 및 상한 항복점이 특정 한도 내에 있도록 하는, 치아 보호 조성물의 성능이 유리하다는 것이 밝혀졌다.
상한 항복점 (Yu) 은 상승 측정 (전단속도를 증가시킴) 에서 수득되는 외삽값 [D (전단 속도) = 0] 이고, 하한 항복점 (Yl) 은 하강 측정에서 수득되는 전단 힘 (Pa) 의 외삽값 [D = 0] 이며, Casson 근사값을 외삽 보조값으로 이용한다.
항복점이 증가되고, 다른 동일한 조성물에 대한 결합제 함량을 증가시킴으로써, 세정제가 칫솔모로 가라앉음을 감소시킨다하더라도, 유동성이 손실되는 점으로 점도가 동시에 증가한다. 결합제 함량의 감소가 계속되는 겔화를 방지하더라도, 휴지(사용중단) 시의 점도 및 항복점이 과도하게 감소되어, 페이스트상 치약이 칫솔모로 너무 빨리 가라앉는다. 연마 성분의 함량이 증가 또는 감소될 경우에도, 동일한 효과가 관찰된다.
본 발명은, 연마 성분, 습윤제, 결합제 및 물을 함유하는 액상 치아 세정 조성물로서, 본 형태의 종래 액상 치아 세정 조성물에 비해 향상된 점성 안정성 및 향상된 유동학적 거동을 나타내고, 이에 사용 및, 탄력성있는 플라스틱 용기로부터의 분산에 특히 유익한 액상 치아 세정 조성물에 관한 것이다.
이제, 본 발명은 상기 유동학상의 패러미터를 유지하는 방법을 개시한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 연마 성분, 습윤제, 결합제 및 물을 함유하는 액상 치아 세정 조성물로서,
5 내지 15 중량 % : 평균 입자 크기가 8 내지 14 ㎛ 이고, BET 비표면적이 40 내지 75 m2/g 이며, 증점 효과가 약한 침전된 실리카,
20 내지 55 중량 % : 글리세린, 소르비톨 또는 그것들의 혼합물,
0.3 내지 1.0 중량 % : 결합제로서의 잔탄검;
을 함유하고, 20 ℃ 에서의 점도 (브로크필드 RVT, 4 rpm, 스핀들 4 내지 50 Pa.s., 스핀들 5 내지 100 pa.s) 가 10 내지 100 Pa.s 범위 내이며, 하한 항복점 (Y1) 이 10 Pa 이상 (20 ℃) 이고, 상한 항복점 (Yu) 이 2Y1이상 (Y1≥ 10 Pa, Yu≤ 2Y1) 인 것을 특징으로 하는 액상 치아 세정 조성물에 관한 것이다. 이 항복점의 효과는, 페이스트상 치약이 10 Pa 초과의 전단력 하에서, 예컨대 압력을 디스펜서 용기에 가할 때 유동하기 시작하고, 개구를 떠난 후, 즉 칫솔 상에서, 휴지 시, 비교적 높은 점도를 가지는 것으로 드러난다는 것이다.
연마 성분으로서 존재하는 침전된 실리카의 품질은 유동형태와 매우 중요한 관계를 가짐이 밝혀졌다. 예를 들어, 예컨대 비표면적이 80 m2/g 이고, 평균 입자 크기가 6 ㎛ 인 Sident 12 와 같은 시판용 제품을 이용하는 것은, 그와 같은 실리카가 수성계에 상당한 증점 효과를 주기 때문에, 적당하지 않다. 본 발명에 있어서, 평균 입자 크기는 8 내지 14 ㎛ 의 범위 내이고, BET 비표면적은 40 내지 75 m2/g 이어야 한다.
실리카 20 중량 %, 글리세린 40 중량 %, 물 36 중량 %, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜 400 2 중량 % 및 카르복시메틸 셀룰로스 1 중량 % 의 표준 분산액의 증점 효과는 5 Pa.s 미만 (20 ℃, 브루크필드 RVT, 스핀들 1 및 5) 이어야 한다. 상표명 Sident 12 에 해당하는 값은 15.5 Pa.s 이다. 본 발명에 따른 특성을 갖는 적당한 시판용 실리카는, 상표명 Sident 8 (Degussa) 및 상표명 Sorbosil AC 39 (Crosfield Chemicals) 및 상표명 RP-LA 1981 (Rhone Poulenc) 으로 시판되는 제품이다. 상표명 Sident 8 은 ca. 1.8 Pa.s 의 증점 효과를 가지고, 반면 상표명 Sorbosil AC 39 는 ca. 1.6 Pa.s 의 증점 효과를 가진다 (20 ℃, 브루크필드 RVT, 스핀들 1 및 5).
언급한 비증점 침전된 실리카 외에도, 본 발명에 따른 치아 세정 조성물은 또한 다른 연마 성분을 5 중량 % 까지 함유할 수 있다. 그 성분에는, 예를 들어 알루미늄 옥시드, 디칼슘 포스페이트 디히드레이트, 칼슘 카보네이트, 칼슘 피로포스페이트 및, 고유의 상당한 증점 성질을 전혀 갖지 않는 기타 연마 성분이 포함된다. 증점 실리카는, 존재할 경우, 1 중량 % 미만의 양으로 존재해야 한다.
본 발명에 있어서, 글리세린, 소르비톨 또는, 글리세린과 소르비톨의 혼합물은 습윤제로서, 20 내지 55 중량 % 의 양으로 존재한다. 글리세롤 및 소르비톨은 바람직하게 6 : 4 내지 4 : 6 의 비로 존재한다. 기타 공지된 디올 또는 폴리올 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜도 또한, 5 중량 % 까지의 소량으로 존재할 수 있다. 이 기타 습윤제는, 예컨대 분자량 2000 내지 10,000 의 1,2-프로필렌 글리콜, 자일리톨 및 폴리에틸렌 글리콜이다.
결합제는 바람직하게 잔탄검만으로 이루어지며, 다만 다른 결합제는 0.5 중량 % 까지의 소량으로 존재할 수 있다. 이 기타 습윤제는 예를 들어, 분자량 10,000 초과의 카라기난, 트라가칸트, 구아, 전분, 전분 및 셀룰로스 에테르, 아가 아가, 펙틴, 폴리비닐 알콜, 폴리비닐 피롤리돈 및 폴리에틸렌 글리콜이다.
부가적으로, 본 발명에 따른 치아 세정 조성물은 전형적 보조제 및 첨가제를 10 중량 % 의 양까지 함유할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 액상 치아 세정 조성물의 감각수용성은 예컨대, 풍미 오일 및 감미제를 첨가함으로써 향상될 수 있다. 적당한 풍미 오일은 구강 및 치아 보호 제제에 통상 사용되는 임의의 천연 또는 합성 풍미제이다. 천연 풍미제는 약제로부터 단리한 천연 필수 오일 형태, 및 그로부터 단리한 개별 성분 형태, 그 양자 모두의 형태로 존재할 수 있다.
적당한 풍미제는 예를 들어, 페퍼민트 오일, 스페어민트 오일, 유칼리나무 오일, 아니스열매 오일, 회향 오일, 캐러웨이 오일, 멘틸 아세테이트, 신남알데히드, 아네톨, 바닐린, 티몰 및, 그 성분들의 혼합물이다.
적당한 감미제는, 예컨대 삭카린 소듐, 소듐 시클라메이트, 수크로스, 락토스, 말토스, 프룩토스이다.
페이스트상 치약을 위한 다른 전형적 보조제 및 첨가제는 하기와 같다 :
- 보존제 및 항균(antimicrobe)제, 예컨대 메틸, 에틸 또는 프로필 p-히드록시벤조에이트, 소듐 소르베이트, 소듐 벤조에이트, 브로모클로로펜, 트리클로산(Triclosan), 페닐 살리실레이트, 비구아니드, 예컨대 클로로헥시딘, 및 퍼옥시드,

- 와운드-힐링(wounding-healing) 또는 항염증제, 예컨대 알란토인, 우레아, 아줄렌, 카모마일-기재의 활성 주성분, 아세틸살리실산 유도체 또는 티오시아네이트,
- 비타민, 예컨대 아스코르브산, 레티놀 또는 토코페롤,
- 미네랄 염, 예컨대 망간, 아연 또는 마그네슘 염.
하기 실시예는 본 발명을 더욱 상세히 설명하기 위한 것이다.
점도는 브루크필드 RVT 회전 점도측정계, 스핀들 4 또는 스핀들 5 (실시예 5 및 6), 20 ℃, 회전 속도 4 rpm 에서 측정한다.

- 연마 성분, 습윤제, 결합제 및 물을 함유하는 액상 치아 세정 조성물로서,- 5 내지 15 중량 % : 평균 입자 크기가 8 내지 14 ㎛ 이고, BET 비표면적이 40 내지 75 m2/g 이며, 증점 효과가 약한 침전된 실리카,20 내지 55 중량 % : 글리세린, 소르비톨 또는 그것들의 혼합물,0.3 내지 1.0 중량 % : 결합제로서의 잔탄검;을 함유하고,- 20 ℃ 에서의 점도 (브로크필드 RVT 점도계) 가 10 내지 100 Pa.s 의 범위 내이며, 하한 항복점 (Y1) 이 10 Pa (20 ℃) 이상이고, 상한 항복점 (Yu) 가 2Y1이하임을 특징으로 하는 액상 치아 세정 조성물.
