Claims (20)
- 웹을 절단하거나 천공하기 위한 방법으로, 상기 방법은
필름을 포함하는 웹을 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 필름은:
폴리올레핀 중합체; 및
복수의 입자를 포함하고;
상기 필름은 표면을 정의하는 폭 및 길이를 포함하는, 단계;
상기 필름을 신장시켜 신장된 필름을 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 필름을 신장시키는 단계는 상기 신장된 필름에 복수의 공극을 제공하고, 상기 복수의 공극은 상기 신장된 필름에 대해 5% 초과인 공극 부피 백분율을 제공하고, 상기 복수의 공극은 0.40μm 초과의 평균 크기를 포함하는 단계;
레이저 조립체를 제공하는 단계; 및
상기 레이저 조립체로부터의 광 빔을 상기 웹의 표면 상에 유도하여 적어도 하나의 위치에서 상기 웹을 절단하거나 천공하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공극 부피 백분율은 15% 미만인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 평균 크기는 2.00μm 미만인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 입자는 카본 블랙, 포스페이트, 포스파이트, 설페이트, 설파이트, 카보네이트, 폴리비닐 부티랄, 운모, 카올리나이트, 알루미나, 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 입자는, BaSO4, BaPO4, CaCO3, CaSO4, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 방법.

신장 방향으로 상기 필름을 신장시켜 신장된 필름을 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 신장 방향으로 상기 필름을 신장시켜 상기 신장된 필름을 제공하는 단계는 상기 필름에 복수의 공극을 제공하고, 상기 복수의 공극은 상기 신장된 필름에 대해 5% 초과인 공극 부피 백분율을 제공하고, 상기 복수의 공극은 0.40μm 초과의 평균 크기를 포함하는 단계;
레이저 조립체를 제공하는 단계; 및
상기 레이저 조립체로부터의 광 빔을 상기 웹의 표면 상에 상기 광 빔과 상기 웹 사이의 상대적인 이동으로 유도하여 경로를 따라 상기 웹을 절단하거나 천공하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 경로의 적어도 제1 부분은 상기 신장 방향에 평행한, 방법. - 제12항에 있어서, 상기 신장 방향은 상기 필름 기계 방향인, 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 경로의 적어도 제2 부분은 상기 신장 방향에 평행하지 않은, 방법.
