Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a full length for compactness by longitudinally arranging an intake unit and a cooler unit inside an engine room and disposing a heater unit inside a car room. CONSTITUTION:An intake unit 1 is positioned in an upper space in front of a dash pannel DP of an engine room ER and an air-path case 1a thereof has intake ports 6, 7 for interior and open airs, a supply port 8 and an intake door 9 for regulating an intake proportion of the interior and open airs. A cooler unit 2 is disposed directly below the unit 1. An air-path case 2a thereof has a drain opening 2b for condensed water at the bottom and a supply port 13 is directed towards a car room. A heater unit 3 is disposed in a space at the back of the DP of the car room R. A mixing door 26 is fit at the front of a heater core 16 of a case 3a and a slave door 27 is attached to a point where a bypass 18 is communicated with a distribution chamber 19, and communicated with a vent duct 22, floor ducts 21a, 21b and defroster duct 20.
