Description

Claims (11)
- 細長い本体と、
前記細長い本体の遠位末端から延伸する中空の先端チップと、
前記細長い本体内を近位から遠位に向けて延伸する駆動シャフトと、
前記細長い本体の一側面と連結されるヒンジ点及び前記ヒンジ点に遠位に配置される半径方向に内側に延伸した内側フランジを有し、前記中空の先端チップと連結されるブッシングと、
遠位切断エッジ及び前記ブッシングを通るテーパー状ネック部を有し、前記駆動シャフトと連結される切断及び撮像アセンブリとを備え、
前記ブッシング内の前記駆動シャフトの遠位の動作は、内側フランジを切断及び撮像アセンブリの前記テーパー状ネック部の拡大するエッジに沿って移動させ、前記ヒンジ点について前記中空の先端チップ及びブッシングを旋回させ、少なくとも部分的に前記遠位切断エッジをカバーするように軸方向に前記中空の先端チップを前記細長い本体と一直線にする、ことを特徴とする粥腫切除カテーテル装置。 - 前記ブッシングは遠位末端表面を有し、前記ブッシング内の前記駆動シャフトの近位の動作は、前記切断及び撮像アセンブリの近位表面を前記ブッシングの前記遠位末端の少なくとも一部分に沿ってスライドさせ、それを前記ヒンジ点について前記中空の先端チップを旋回させ、遠位切断エッジを露出させる、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記ブッシングの前記遠位末端表面は、前記細長い本体の中央軸線に対して角度を有する、請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記角度は90°以上である、請求項3記載の装置。
- 前記角度は90°以下である、請求項3記載の装置。
- 前記遠位末端表面は前記細長い本体の中央軸線に対して直角である、請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記ブッシングは、さらに第1チャネルと、前記第1チャネルに対して角度をもって延伸する第2チャネルとを有し、前記第2チャネルは前記第1チャネルと重複し、前記テーパー状ネック部は、前記中空の先端チップが前記細長い本体と一直線になるときに前記第1チャネル内に位置し、前記中空の先端チップが前記細長い本体に対して屈曲するときに前記第2チャネルを通して位置する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記ブッシングは、前記ブッシングのトップ周辺部分を通して形成されるヒンジチャネルを有し、さらに、前記ヒンジチャネルは、前記第1チャネルの横方向に延伸する、請求項7記載の装置。
- さらに、前記駆動シャフトを通して延伸し、光コヒーレンストモグラフィ(OCT)撮像センサを形成するために前記切断及び撮像アセンブリのリフレクタと連結された光ファイバを備える、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記切断及び撮像アセンブリは前記ブッシング内を回転するように構成される、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記切断及び撮像アセンブリは、前記中空の先端チップ内に組織を詰めるために前記ブッシングを越えて、且つ、前記中空の先端チップ内に向けて延伸するように構成される、請求項1記載の装置。
