Description

本明細書で開示される実施形態は、減圧により創傷を治療するシステムおよび方法に関する。本明細書で使用されるとき、−XmmHgなどの減圧レベルまたは陰圧レベルは、標準大気圧未満の圧力レベルを表し、標準大気圧は、760mmHg(すなわち1atm、29.93inHg、101.325kPa、14.696psiなど)に相当する。したがって、−XmmHgという陰圧値は、760mmHgをXmmHg下回る絶対圧、すなわち言い換えれば、(760−X)mmHgという絶対圧を反映する。さらに、XmmHgよりも「低い」すなわち「小さい」陰圧は、大気圧により近い圧力に相当する(たとえば、−40mmHgは−60mmHgよりも低い)。−XmmHgよりも「高い」すなわち「大きい」陰圧は、大気圧からより遠い圧力に相当する(たとえば、−80mmHgは−60mmHgよりも高い)。

図1は、ポンプアセンブリ104と組み合わせた創傷ドレッシング材102を備える減圧閉鎖治療装置100の一実施形態を示す。本明細書で開示される装置実施形態のいずれにおいても、図1に示される実施形態と同様に、ポンプアセンブリは、容器のないポンプアセンブリ(ポンプアセンブリが滲出液または液体の回収容器を持たないことを意味する)であってよい。しかし、本明細書で開示されるポンプアセンブリ実施形態のいずれも、容器を含むまたは支持するように構成され得る。加えて、本明細書で開示される装置実施形態のいずれにおいても、ポンプアセンブリ実施形態のいずれも、ドレッシング材に取り付けられてもよいし、これによって支持されてもよいし、これに隣接してもよい。ドレッシング材102は、その開示が参照により本明細書に組み込まれ本開示の一部となる特許文献1により詳細に記載されるように、創傷(図示せず)の上に設置されてよく、次いで、導管106はドレッシング材102に接続されてよい。ドレッシング材102または本明細書で開示される他の任意のドレッシング材は、特許文献1に開示されているドレッシング材実施形態のいずれかの材料、大きさ、構成要素、または他の詳細のいずれかを有することができ、そのような実施形態およびその図示は、本開示の一部となるかのようにその全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。導管106または本明細書で開示される他の任意の導管は、ポリウレタン、PVC、ナイロン、ポリエチレン、シリコーン、または他の任意の適切な材料から形成され得る。

いくつかの実施形態では、電源1130の容量は、電源の瞬時容量(たとえば電圧または電流)を測定することによって決定され得る。いくつかの実施形態では、電源の容量は、コントローラ1160によって決定され得る。たとえば、瞬時容量は、n秒ごとなどの定期的に測定可能であり、ここで、nは、任意の適切な整数値または非整数値(たとえば60秒)として選択されてよい。しかし、瞬時容量は変動することがあり、そのことによって、電源容量の測定が信頼できないまたは歪んだものになる。たとえば、陰圧源1090がアクティブであるとき、瞬時電圧(または電流)読み取り値は、電力が陰圧源1090によって電源1130から取られることにより、低下することがある。すなわち、瞬時電圧(または電流)は、ポンプダウン1622中に「下がる」ことがある。

Claims (23)
- 創傷に陰圧を加えるための装置であって、
ドレッシング材に結合されるように構成された陰圧源と、
前記装置に電力を供給するように構成された電源と、
前記陰圧源のデューティサイクル、前記装置の初期アクティブ化から経過した前記装置の動作時間、及び前記電源の残存容量を監視するように構成されるとともに、前記電源の前記残存容量および前記装置の動作時間に少なくとも部分的に基づいてデューティサイクル閾値を決定するように構成された、単一のコントローラであって、決定された前記デューティサイクル閾値に少なくとも部分的に基づいて陰圧を動作するように構成された単一のコントローラと、
を備える装置。 - 前記創傷の上に設置され、前記創傷の上に実質的に流体不透過性のシールを形成するように構成されたドレッシング材をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記陰圧源をアクティブ化させるようにさらに構成されるとともに、前記デューティサイクルが前記デューティサイクル閾値を超えることに応答して指標を提供するようにさらに構成された、請求項1から2のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記指標が、前記陰圧源を非アクティブ化させることを含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記デューティサイクルが、ある時間期間中に前記陰圧源がアクティブである時間量を反映する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、二次関数および一次関数のうち少なくとも1つに従って、前記デューティサイクル閾値を決定するように構成された、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、式α×(前記電源の容量−β)×(動作時間−β)+γに従って、前記デューティサイクル閾値を決定するように構成され、α、β、およびγが定数である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 定数α、β、およびγの値は、一部が、前記デューティサイクル閾値の下限、前記デューティサイクル閾値の上限、および1つまたは複数の動作特性のうち少なくとも1つに基づいて選択された、請求項7に記載の装置。
- α=−2−8、β=691.5、およびγ=1066.5である、請求項7に記載の装置。
- αが、2のべき乗である、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 2−16≦α≦2−8である、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数の動作特性が、漏れ量を含む、請求項8に記載の装置。

- 定数m、c、β、およびγの値は、少なくとも一部が、前記デューティサイクル閾値の上限、前記デューティサイクル閾値の下限、およびαの値のうち1つまたは複数に基づいて決定される、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記装置の初期アクティブ化からの全経過時間に基づいて前記動作時間を決定するようにさらに構成されるとともに、
前記動作時間が寿命閾値に到達すると、前記陰圧源のアクティブ化を無効にするようにさらに構成された請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の装置。 - 前記寿命閾値が、少なくとも7日を含む、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記電源の測定電圧および前記電源の測定電流のうち少なくとも1つに基づいて前記電源の容量を決定するようにさらに構成された、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記デューティサイクル閾値の下限および上限がそれぞれ、9%および18%、25%および60%、または35%および70%である、請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記デューティサイクル閾値を定期的に決定するように構成された、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記デューティサイクル閾値を毎時に決定するように構成された、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラが、
前記陰圧源がアクティブであるとき、前記電源の第1の容量を測定し、
前記陰圧源が非アクティブであるとき、前記電源の第2の容量を測定し、
少なくとも一部は前記電源の前記第1の容量および前記第2の容量に基づいて、前記電源の容量を決定する
ようにさらに構成された、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記コントローラが、前記電源の前記第1の容量および前記第2の容量の平均値に基づいて前記電源の容量を決定するように構成された、請求項22に記載の装置。
