Description
a) 熱可塑性で熱活性可能な接着剤、特にフィルム。
b) 反応性で熱活性可能な接着剤、特にフィルム。
特に好ましくは、本発明の接着フィルムの熱活性可能な接着剤は、熱可塑性ポリマーをベースとする。熱活性可能な接着剤としての用途としては、これらの系は従来技術においてよく知られている。
支持体不織布としては、個々の繊維からなる平坦な形成物が使用される。その際、DIN EN 29092規格に従って定義される不織布の全てが使用可能である。この不織布は、互いにまだ結合されていない、緩いひとまとまりの繊維からなる。その強度は、繊維自体の付着から生じる。強化された不織布と強化されていない不織布も区別される。繊維は、ランダムに分布される。不織布は、繊維材料によって区別できる。繊維材料としては、鉱物性繊維、例えば、ガラス、ミネラルウール又は玄武岩、動物性繊維、例えば、絹又は羊毛、植物性繊維、例えば、木綿、セルロース、化学繊維、例えば、ポリアミド、ポリプロピレン、ポリフェニルスルフィド、ポリアクリルニトリル、ポリイミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、アラミド又はポリエステルが使用できる。繊維は、ニードルパンチ又はウォータージェットによって機械的に、バインダーの添加によって化学的に、又は適当な気流中での、加熱ローラー間での、又は蒸気流中での軟化によっても熱的に固定することができる。
熱可塑性フィルムのコーティングは、好ましくはその溶融物から遂行される。熱可塑性ポリマー、任意に追加される樹脂及び/又はその他の充填剤を確実に均質に混合するために、事前に個別のコンパウンド化を実施することができる。この混合は、例えば、二軸スクリュー押出機又は混練機中で遂行できる。単一の(混合されていない)熱可塑性プラスチックあるいは事前にコンパウンド化した混合物のコーティングのためには、一般に一軸スクリュー押出機で十分である。ここで、押出物は、段階的に押し出し温度まで加熱される、つまり、加熱プロセスによって可塑化される。温度は、使用する熱可塑性プラスチックのメルトフローインデックス(MFI)又はメルトボリュームレート(MVR)を考慮して選択される。
金属
接着される金属部材は、一般的に、よく知られた金属及び金属合金の全てから製造できる。好ましくは、例えば、アルミニウム、特殊鋼、鋼、マグネシウム、亜鉛、ニッケル、真鍮、銅、チタン、鉄含有金属及びオーステナイト合金などの金属を使用できる。いかなる種類の添加及び合金化も同様に一般に行われている。それに加えて、部材を異なる金属から多層的に構成することができる。
家庭用電子製品(EC)のためのプラスチック部品は、射出成形で加工できるプラスチックをベースとしている場合がほとんどである。それ故、この一群は、例えば、アクリルニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレンコポリマー(ABS)、ポリカーボネート(PC)、ABS/PC−ブレンド、PMMA、ポリアミド、ガラス繊維強化ポリアミド、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリフッ化ビニレン、セルロースアセテート、シクロオレフィンコポリマー、液晶ポリマー(LCP)、ポリラクチド、ポリエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリメタクリルメチルイミド、ポリメチルペンテン、ポリフェニルエーテル、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリフタルアミド、ポリウレタン、ポリ酢酸ビニル、スチレン−アクリルニトリルコポリマー、ポリアクリレート又はポリメタクリレート、ポリオキシメチレン、アクリルエステル−スチレン−アクリルニトリルコポリマー、ポリエチレン、ポリスチレン、ポリプロピレン又はポリエステル[例えば、ポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)]を包含する。
本発明の接着フィルムは、電子機器、特に、通信用電子機器及び/又は電子娯楽機器の分野において部材を接着するための使用に適している。
窓及びディスプレイ用途には、強化されたガラスが使用される。これは、例として、鉱物ガラス、石英ガラス又はサファイアガラスから製造できる。様々な改質によって、ガラスの光学的特性並びに物理的特性に的確な影響を及ぼすことができる。装飾的な理由から、例えば、曇りガラス又は着色ガラスが使用される。
家庭用電子製品における用途のために、熱活性可能なフィルムを通常ダイカットするために更に加工する。これは、レーザーカット法により、又はフラットベッド式ダイカット、又は回転式ダイカットのいずれかによって製造される。ダイカットのために存在する製造方法として、更に別の多くの方法が当業者に知られている。
金属部品とプラスチック部材、ガラス部材又は金属部材との間の接着工程を、次の工程段階1〜5によって詳細に説明する。
1) 型部材上へのプラスチック部材、ガラス部材又は金属部材の固定
2) プラスチック部材、ガラス部材又は金属部材上での、(一時的な支持体のない)熱活性可能なフィルムを有する接着される金属部材の位置決め
3) ホットプレスラムによる圧力及び温度の付与
4) 任意の再冷却段階
5) 接着された部材の型部材からの除去
試験方法:
粘着力A)
粘着力は動的せん断試験で測定する。この測定法の原理は、図3a及び図3b中に描かれている。本発明の熱可塑性の熱活性可能なフィルム(HAF)(厚さ:150μm)を使って、アルミニウム板(Al)(厚さ:1.5mm、幅2cm)をポリカーボネート板(PC)(厚さ:3mm、幅2cm)と接合する。接着面積は2cm2である。
熱可塑性の熱活性可能なフィルムは、29.5mmの直径を有する円形のダイカットとして打ち抜きされる。フィルムは、上面も下面もシリコーン処理されたグラシンライナーで被覆される。

最初に、試験片を測定方法A(粘着強度)と同じ方法で製造する(図3aも参照)。
二つの異なる熱活性可能な接着剤(HA剤)をベースとする熱活性可能なフィルムを検査した。
HA剤1: 47重量%テレフタル酸、12重量%イソフタル酸、9.5重量%1,4ブタンジオール、31.5重量%ヘキサンジオールをベースとする熱可塑性飽和線状コポリエステル
融点100℃(DIN 53765);ガラス転移温度10.0℃(DIN 53765)、粘度240000cP(160℃(DIN ISO 1133))、メルトフロー40.0g/120分(160℃(DIN ISO 1133))(例えば、Degussa社から商品名DYNAPOL(登録商標) S 1227で市場的に入手可能)
融点109℃(DSC、平均値);ガラス転移温度−2℃(DSC、平均値)、粘度650000cP(160℃(DIN ISO 1133))、メルトフロー16.0g/10分(160℃(DIN ISO 1133))(例えば、EMS Griltech社から商品表示Griltex(登録商標) D 1442Eで商業的に入手可能)
140℃のホットプレスにおいて、HA剤1をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で150μmにプレスした。このコポリエステルの融点範囲は86℃〜109℃である。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤1をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で、13g/m2不織布(Glatfelter社のセルロースベースのティーバッグ不織布)の両面上に150℃でプレスした。この両面接着テープの層厚は、グラシン剥離紙を除いて150μmであった。このコポリエステルの融点範囲は86℃〜109℃である。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤1をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で140℃で65μmにプレスした。このコポリエステルの融点範囲は86〜109℃である。それから、13g/m2不織布(Glatfelter社のセルロースベースのティーバッグ不織布)の両面に、この65μm厚のDynapol(商標) S1227を塗工した。不織布中への浸透深さは、熱間圧延ラミネーター(Heizrollenlaminator)によって制御した。そのように、この例は130℃でかつ2m/分の速度で積層された。浸透深さを両面からREM撮影によって測定した。その際、ホットメルト接着剤が浸潤していない支持体不織布の平均層厚を測定した。この値を、(接着されていない)接着フィルム複合体における支持体不織布の層厚で除し、そしてパーセントで表す。平均浸潤度は、測定した浸潤していない領域のパーセント値を100%から差し引くことで得られる。この例において、56%の平均浸潤度が測定された。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤1をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で140℃で65μmにプレスした。コポリエステルの融点範囲は86〜109℃である。それから、13g/m2不織布(Glatfelter社のセルロースベースのティーバッグ不織布)の両面に、この65μm厚のDynapol(商標) S1227を塗工した。不織布中への浸透深さは、熱間圧延ラミネーター(Heizrollenlaminator)によって制御した。そのように、この例は130℃でかつ0.5m/分の速度で積層された。例1の測定方法と同様にして、75%の平均浸潤度が測定された。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤2をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で140℃で150μmにプレスした。このポリマーの融点範囲は93℃〜121℃である。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤2をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で、13g/m2不織布(Glatfelter社のセルロースベースのティーバッグ不織布)の両面上に150℃でプレスした。この両面接着テープの層厚は、グラシン剥離紙を除いて150μmであった。このコポリエステルの融点範囲は93℃〜121℃である。REM撮影を使って100%の平均浸潤度が測定された、つまり、この試料は、ホットメルト接着剤で100%まで浸潤された。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤2をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で150℃で65μmにプレスした。このコポリエステルの融点範囲は93〜121℃である。それから、13g/m2不織布(Glatfelter社のセルロースベースのティーバッグ不織布)の両面に、その65μm厚のGrilltex(商標) 1442 Eを塗工した。不織布中への浸透深さは、熱間圧延ラミネーターによって制御した。そのように、この例は135℃でかつ2m/分の速度で積層された。例1の測定方法と同様にして、65%の平均浸潤度が測定された。
ホットプレスにおいて、HA剤2をシリコーン処理されたグラシン剥離紙二層の間で150℃で65μmにプレスした。このコポリエステルの融点範囲は93〜121℃である。それから、13g/m2不織布(Glatfelter社のセルロースベースのティーバッグ不織布)の両面に、その65μm厚のGrilltex(商標) 1442 Eを塗工した。例1の測定方法と同様にして、80%の平均浸潤度が測定された。
例1、2、3及び4は、本発明による構成を有する熱活性可能なフィルムの例である。
Claims (11)
- 不織布支持体と、該不織布支持体の両面上に配置された、熱活性可能な接着剤からなる二つの層とを含む接着フィルムであって、
該不織布支持体の両面上に浸透させる接着剤がそれぞれ、接着フィルム複合体における不織布支持体の繊維間体積の少なくとも10%になるという条件で、該接着フィルム複合体における不織布支持体の繊維間体積の全体で20%〜92%が接着剤で浸潤されるように、両方の接着剤が該不織布支持体中へ浸透しており、
その際、該不織布支持体の内部では、その不織布支持体の層厚の8%〜80%の厚さを有する帯状部分は、接着剤で浸潤されないことを特徴とする、接着フィルム。 - 前記接着フィルムにおいて、前記不織布支持体の繊維間体積の全体で40%〜80%が前記接着剤で浸潤されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の接着フィルム。
- 前記不織布支持体の両面に対して浸透する接着剤がそれぞれ、前記複合体における前記不織布支持体の繊維間体積の少なくとも20%になることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の接着フィルム。
- 前記不織布支持体の両面上の前記接着剤が同じであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の接着フィルム。
- 前記不織布支持体の両面に対して浸透する接着剤がそれぞれ、前記複合体における前記不織布支持体の繊維間体積の同じ割合を占めることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の接着フィルム。
- 不織布支持体と、該不織布支持体の両面上に配置された、熱活性可能な接着剤からなる二つの層とを含む接着フィルムであって、
該不織布支持体の両面上でそれぞれ不織布支持体厚の少なくとも10%が浸潤されるという条件下で、該不織布支持体の層厚の全体で20%〜92%が接着剤で浸潤されるように、両方の接着剤が該不織布支持体中に浸透しており、
その際、該不織布支持体の内部では、その不織布支持体の層厚の8%〜80%の厚さを有する帯状部分は、接着剤で浸潤されないことを特徴とする、接着フィルム。 - 前記不織布支持体の層厚の全体で40%〜80%が前記接着剤で浸潤されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の接着フィルム。
- 前記不織布支持体の層厚の全体で50%〜75%が前記接着剤で浸潤されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の接着フィルム。
- 前記熱活性可能な接着剤が、一つ又は複数の熱可塑性ポリマーをベースとするものであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一つに記載の接着フィルム。
- 前記1〜9のいずれか一つに記載の熱活性可能な接着フィルムの、金属を、プラスチック、ガラス又は金属に接着するための使用。
- 電子機器において部材を接着するための請求項10に記載の使用。
