Description
Claims (22)
- 疎水性ポリマーと、
網目構造を形成し、該疎水性ポリマーの網目構造と均一に絡み合った水溶性ポリマー−遷移金属錯体とを含み、
前記水溶性ポリマーがポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルピリジン及びそれらの組合せからなる群より選択される、親水性中空糸膜。 - 引張強さが200〜700 psi(1378〜4823 kPa)である請求項1の膜。
- 40 psi(276kPa)での透過水流束が100〜1500 gfd(4.1〜61.5 m3/m2/日)である請求項1の膜。
- 150kデキストラン分子量マーカーに対する阻止率が5〜99.9%である請求項1の膜。
- 疎水性ポリマーがフィルム又は糸を形成することができる合成ポリマーであって、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリエーテルケトン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン及びそれらの組合せからなる群より選択されることを特徴とする請求項1の膜。
- ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリビニルピロリドン及び鉄錯体を含んでなる請求項1の膜。
- 限外ろ過膜である請求項1の膜。
- 水溶性ポリマー成分が疎水性ポリマー膜母材中に永続的に固定化されることを特徴とする請求項1の膜。
- 水溶性ポリマー成分を水又は12.5%次亜塩素酸ナトリウム漂白剤で洗い流せないことを特徴とする請求項1の膜。
- 親水性中空糸膜の製造方法であって、
(a)疎水性ポリマーと溶媒を混合して混合物とするステップ;
(b)該混合物を加熱して溶液とするステップ;
(c)該溶液に遷移金属含有化合物と、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルピリジン及びそれらの組合せからなる群より選択される水溶性ポリマーとを加えるステップ;
(d)該溶液を加熱混合して、該水溶性ポリマーが該遷移金属含有化合物と錯体を形成し、もって該溶解疎水性ポリマーと均一に絡み合って粘稠ドープを形成するようにするステップ;
(e)該ドープを環状オリフィスから押し出して中空糸を成形するステップを含む製造方法。 - 前記中空糸を凝固浴中に送り、該凝固浴中で該中空糸が転相により形成されるようにするステップをさらに含む請求項10の方法。
- 前記中空糸を凝固浴中に送る前に湿度調節環境に導き、そこで中空糸を部分的に凝固させるようにするステップをさらに含む請求項11の方法。
- 浸漬浴に部分的に浸した巻取りホイールで中空糸を回収するステップをさらに含む請求項11の方法。
- 加熱ステップ(b)及び(d)を0℃ないし溶媒沸点の温度で行って前記ドープが溶媒還流下に混合されるようにする請求項10の方法。
- 粘稠ドープの粘度が25℃で100〜600,000センチポワズ(cp)(0.1〜600 Pa・s)である請求項10の方法。
- 湿度調節環境の相対湿度が0〜100%であり、温度が0〜100℃である請求項10の方法。
- 湿度が内表面に落水を有するカラムによって加えられ、該カラムは0.2〜100℃の温度で相対湿度を50〜100%に維持することを特徴とする請求項16の方法。
- 凝固浴が0〜60%v/vの前記溶媒を含んでなり、浴温が0〜100℃であることを特徴とする請求項11の方法。
- 浸出浴が水を含んでなり、浴温が0.1〜100℃であることを特徴とする請求項13の方法。
- 中空糸が5〜300フィート/分(1.5〜91.5 m/分)の速度で形成される請求項13の方法。
- 溶媒が極性溶媒である請求項10の方法。
- 極性溶媒がジメチルアセトアミド、N-メチルピロリドン、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルスルホン、トリアルキルホスフェート及びそれらの組合せからなる群より選択される請求項21の方法。
