Abstract
【課題】
【解決手段】本発明は、設定値を越える電圧で充電電流をバイパスする並列モニタを有し直列接続した複数のキャパシタ(C1、C2、・・Cn)からなるキャパシタを充放電するキャパシタ充放電システムにおいて、バイパス電流路にはトランジスタTr及び抵抗Rが設け、バイパス電流が流れたときの該トランジスタTrの消費電力をPc、該抵抗Rの消費電力をPrとするとき、Pr=kPc (ただし、k≧1)となるように設定することを特徴とする。

Description
静電容量のバラツキはキャパシタを直列につないだとき、電圧がキャパシタの個数分の1に均圧(電圧がキャパシタに均等配分)されない原因となる。このようなキャパシタの静電容量のバラツキに対処するために、均圧抵抗などをキャパシタと並列につなぐ方法も考えられるが、この方法では漏れ抵抗の不均一は軽減されるが静電容量の不同に対する是正効果はない。

となるように設定することを特徴とする。
すなわち、本発明では、電気二重層キャパシタC1、C2、・・Cnのバイパス電流による発熱負担を一部電流制限用抵抗R1〜Rnが負担することができ、より定格の低いトランジスタTr1〜Trnを用いることができる。

と表すことができる。また、バイパス電流Itが流れたときの抵抗Rからの発熱Pr(抵抗Rの消費電力)は、

が成立するように、バイパス電流Itを決定するものとする。本発明においては、このようなバイパス電流Itを流すために、トランジスタTrと抵抗Rの抵抗値を選択する。

- 周期的なサイクル時間で電力を要求する負荷に用いられ、設定値を越える電圧で充電電流をバイパスする並列モニタを有し直列接続した複数の電気二重層キャパシタからなるキャパシタモジュールを充放電するキャパシタ充放電システムにおいて、
それぞれの電気二重層キャパシタの充電電流をバイパスするバイパス電流路にはトランジスタ、該トランジスタと直列に接続される抵抗が設けられ、それぞれの電気二重層キャパシタの電圧が基準電圧Vrによる設定値を越えると該トランジスタをオンにするコンパレータが設けられ、該トランジスタの定格特性で定まる該トランジスタがオン状態でのエミッタ−コレクタ間電圧をVtonとすると、
Vr−Vton=kVton
かつ
k=1.2〜1.5
となるように設定することを特徴とするキャパシタ充放電システム。
