Description
外部に突出される電極リードの左右少なくとも何れか一方のシーリング部及び空間部が電極組立体方に湾入される湾入部を含むことを特徴とするポーチ型ケースを提供する。
前記正極リードと負極リードは、電極組立体の短面又は長面のうち何れか一面から突出されることを特徴とする。
正極板と負極板、その間に介在されるセパレータからなる電極組立体が収容される空間部及び上部ケースと下部ケースが密封されて形成されるシーリング部を含むポーチ型ケースにおいて、
電池内部のデッドスペース(dead space)を最小化するために、外部に突出される電極リードの左右両方のうち何れか一方のシーリング部及び空間部が前記電極組立体方に湾入されることを特徴とする。

Claims (28)
- 正極板と負極板、その間に介在されるセパレータからなる電極組立体が収容される空間部及び上部ケースと下部ケースが密封されて形成されるシーリング部を含むポーチ型ケースにおいて、
外部へ突出される電極リードの左右少なくともいずれか一方のシーリング部及び空間部が電極組立体方に湾入される湾入部を含むことを特徴とするポーチ型ケース。 - 前記湾入部は、電極リード及び電極組立体の上端からそれぞれシーリング部の幅分に離隔されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記湾入部は、電極リードから6mm以上の電極リードの幅以下に離隔されて電極組立体上端から3mm以上電極リードの長さ以下に離隔されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記湾入部は、円型、楕円型、斜線型、四角型、三角型、放物線型、V型のうち何れか一つの形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記湾入部は、各角に形成された湾入部の形状が全て同じであるか又はそれぞれ異なる形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記電極組立体は、正極リードと負極リードがお互い異なる方向に突出されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記正極リードと負極リードは、電極組立体の短面又は長面のうち何れか一面から突出されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記ポーチ型ケースは、正極リードと負極リードの左右両方シーリング部及び空間部が電極組立体方に湾入される湾入部を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記電極組立体は、正極リードと負極リードが同じ方向に突出されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記正極リードと負極リードが突出される同じ方向は、電極組立体の短面又は長面のうち何れか一面であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記正極リードと負極リードが突出された方向の両角部分のシーリング部及び空間部が電極組立体方に湾入される湾入部を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記ポーチ型ケースは、正極リードと負極リード間のシーリング部及び空間部が電極組立体方に湾入される湾入部を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記湾入部は、電極リード及び電極組立体上端からシーリング部の幅分に離隔されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記湾入部は、電極組立体上端から少なくとも3mm離隔された位置に頂点が形成される放物線形状の湾入部であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記湾入部は、電極組立体上端から少なくとも3mm離隔された位置に頂点が形成される逆三角型形状の湾入部であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記ポーチ型ケースは、前記正極リードと負極リードが突出された方向の両角及び正極リードと負極リード間のシーリング部及び空間部が電極組立体方に湾入される湾入部を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記ポーチ型ケースは、湾入されるシーリング部を含めて全シーリング部の幅が一定に維持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記ポーチ型ケースは、上部ケースと下部ケースの少なくとも何れか一面が連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 前記ポーチ型ケースは、それぞれ空間部を含む上部ケースと下部ケースが分離されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポーチ型ケース。
- 請求項1から請求項19のうち何れか一項に記載のポーチ型ケース及び電極組立体を含むリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は、ポーチ型ケースに形成された湾入部と対応される位置に前記湾入部の形状と同じ形状で湾入部が形成されることを特徴とする請求項20に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は、連続的に長く裁断された分離フィルムの上にバイセル(Bi−cell)とフルセル(Full−cell)が交差して置いた状態に畳めて製造するスタッ&フォールディング電極組立体、バイセルのみを前記分離フィルムの上に置いた状態から畳めて製造するスタック&フォールディング型電極組立体、フルセルのみを前記分離フィルムの上に置いた状態から畳めて製造するスタック&フォールディング型電極組立体、前記バイセル又はフルセルを分離フィルムでジグザグ方向に畳めて製造するZ型スタック&フォールディング電極組立体、前記バイセル又はフルセルを同じ方向に連続に畳めて製造するスタック&フォールディング電極組立体、長く裁断された分離フィルムの上に正極及び負極を交差して置いた状態から畳めて製造する電極組立体、正極板、セパレータ、負極板の順に配置された状態で一方向にワインディングして製造するゼリーロール型電極組立体、及びスタック型電極組立体のうち何れか一つであることを特徴とする請求項20に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池は、ポーチ型ケースの上部ケース及び下部ケースに予め湾入部を形成した後、前記シーリング部を熱溶着により密封することを特徴とする請求項20に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 請求項20に記載のリチウム二次電池を含むことを特徴とする電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、前記リチウム二次電池のポーチ型ケースに形成された湾入部位置に支持台を含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の電池パック。
- 前記支持台の断面形状は、支持台が位置する前記ポーチ型ケースに形成された湾入部形状と同じであることを特徴とする請求項25に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、中大型装置の電源として使用されることを特徴とする請求項24に記載の電池パック。
- 前記中大型装置は、パワーツール(power tool);電気自動車(Electric Vehicle,EV)、ハイブリッド電気自動車(Hybrid Electric Vehicle,HEV)及びプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車(Plug−in Hybrid Electric Vehicle,PHEV)を含む電気自動車、E−bike,E−scooterを含む電気二輪車;電動ゴルフカー(Electric golf cart);電気トラック;電気商用車又は電力格納用システムであることを特徴とする請求項27に記載の電池パック。
