Abstract
Description
通常は、挿入しやすく、その後に目指す目的部位へカテーテルを進めることができるような位置において、患者の血管などの体内管へカテーテルを挿入することにより、医師は、カテーテルを使用して遠隔的に医療処置を行うことができる。この方法により、患者の血管又は血管以外の体内管であれ、ほぼ全ての目的部位に遠隔的に到達させることができる。通常、カテーテルは、上腕部、頸部又は鼠径部近傍の血管等、都合のよい位置において、患者の血管系に挿入される。血管及び血管以外の治療において、カテーテルが進む体内管の経路は、通常蛇行しており、しばしば方向転換を必要とする。また、カテーテルを折り返す必要もある。医師は、カテーテルの基端部分に捻り力を付与して、カテーテルの操舵を補助することがある。操舵を円滑にするために、血管内カテーテルが比較的高いトルク性を有することが望ましい。更に、カテーテルが患者の蛇行する体内構造に適合するために、カテーテルは比較的可撓性を有することが望ましい。カテーテルが比較的高いトルク性を有し、且つ可撓性を保持するという要件は、カテーテルシャフトの壁厚が増加するとトルク性が向上するものの、可撓性を低下させるため、相反する要件となることがある。
Claims (22)
- 外表面を有する長尺状シャフトと、
前記外表面上において隆起した模様と、同隆起した模様はトルクが付与されると、長尺状シャフトに沿ってトルクの伝達を向上させる手段を構成することとからなるトルク伝達シャフトを有するカテーテル。 - 隆起した模様は、その間のチャネルによって離間された複数のダイヤモンド形状を有する請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- トルクの伝達を向上させる手段は、複数の支持ポイントを有する請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 支持ポイントは、長尺状シャフトにトルクが付与されると、互いに接する請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 基端部、先端部、それらを貫通するルーメン、基端部及び先端部を備えたコア部材、内表面並びに外表面を有する長尺状シャフトと、内表面はル―メンと連通することと、
前記外表面上において隆起した模様と、同隆起した模様は複数の支持ポイントを有することと、隆起した模様は支持部分の間において接することにより、長尺状シャフトに沿ってトルクの伝達を向上させることとからなるトルク伝達シャフトを有するカテーテル。 - 隆起した模様は、レーザ切断により形成される請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 隆起した模様は、オーバーモールドにより形成される請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 隆起した模様は、ホットダイカストにより形成される請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 隆起した模様は、エンボス加工により形成される請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 隆起した模様は、押出し成形により形成される請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 支持ポイントは、長尺状シャフトにトルクが付与されると、互いに接する請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 外表面を備えた長尺状シャフトを有するカテーテルを構成する工程と、
長尺状シャフトに沿ってトルクの伝達を向上させるための手段を形成する外表面上に隆起した模様を配する工程とからなるカテーテルシャフト内にトルクの伝達を生成する方法。 - カテーテルはガイドカテーテルである請求項12に記載の方法。
- カテーテルはバルーンカテーテルである請求項12に記載の方法。
- 隆起した模様は、レーザ切断により形成される請求項12に記載の方法。
- 隆起した模様は、オーバーモールドにより形成される請求項12に記載の方法。
