Abstract

【課題】 カード用コネクタからカード保持構造を取り除き、新たにカード保持構造を携帯型電子機器のケースに設け、カード用コネクタの小型化、及びカード用コネクタの低コスト化を実現する。
【解決手段】 カード用コネクタ３を有する携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造において、前記カード保持構造は、機器ケースに設けられ、カード３の厚み方向に働く力を抑えている。カード保持構造は、機器ケースに可動するアーム部８と可動しない固定部７Ａ，７Ｂ１，７Ｂ２を有しており、前記アーム部８を可動させることによって、カード５の取り外し、固定を可能にしている。

Description

本発明は、携帯電話などの携帯型電子機器におけるカード保持構造に関する。ＳＩＭ（Subscriber Identification Module；加入者識別モジュール）カード等のカードは、カード保持構造により保持され、機器のカード用コネクタにより回路基板との電気的接続が達成される。
近年、携帯電話機などの携帯型電子機器は、小型化されていく中、ＳＩＭカードやメモリカード等のカード（主にＩＣカード）を装着自在とするため、カードを保持するためのカード用コネクタを備えるようになってきている。
図６は、従来のカード保持構造を備えた携帯型電子機器の一例を示す背面図である。
図７は、従来のカード保持構造の一例を示す詳細図である。
図８は、従来のカード保持構造の一例を示す断面図である。
従来の携帯型電子機器は、少なくともフロントケース１０１とリアケース１０２、カード用コネクタ１０３を搭載した回路基板１０４を備えている。従来のカード１０５は接続ランド部を備えており、カード用コネクタ１０３には、カードの接続ランド部と接触するための接触端子部１０６とカードを保持するための機構を設けている。
下記特許文献１においても、カード用コネクタにカード保持機構を設けた例が記載されている。
図９は、下記特許文献１におけるカード保持構造の一例を示す図である。
この例では、携帯電話機の裏面側ケース１０７内に設けられたカード装着用凹部１０８の貫通孔１０９に露出したプリント基板１１０に固定されたカード用コネクタ１１１にカードをスライドさせて装着し、カード用コネクタ１１１におけるカードのスライド方向の前部に設けた一対のカード保持部１１３によりカードの前部を保持し、裏面側ケース１０７のカバー兼バッテリーの内壁面によりカードの後部を保持する。また、カード装着用凹部１０８の底面に一端が固定された矩形の弾性片からなるケース側ストッパ１１３を設けるようにしたものである。

しかしながら、従来のようなカード用コネクタを搭載する場合には、基板への搭載面積が少なくともカード面積以上必要であるので、基板自身を小型化することが困難となり、最終的に携帯型電子機器としても小型化できなくなる。また、従来のカード用コネクタはカード保持構造を備えるため、高価な部品となり、コストアップの要因の一つとなっている。
そこで、本発明は、カード用コネクタからカード保持構造を取り除き、新たにカード保持構造を携帯型電子機器のケースに設け、カード用コネクタの小型化、及びカード用コネクタの低コスト化を実現できるような携帯型電子機器を提供することを目的としている。
上述の課題を解決するため、本発明の携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造は、カード用コネクタを有する携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造において、前記カード保持構造は、機器ケースに設けられ、カードの厚み方向に働く力を抑えていることを特徴とする。
本発明の第一の効果は、携帯型電子機器の小型化を図ることができるということである。
その理由は、従来カード用コネクタに設けているカード保持構造を携帯型電子機器のケースに設けることにより、カード用コネクタからカード保持構造を削除することができるからである。
本発明の第二の効果は、カード用コネクタの部品コストの低減を図ることができるということである。
その理由は、従来カード用コネクタに備えているカード保持構造を携帯型電子機器のケースに備えることにより、カード用コネクタからカード保持構造を削除し、カード用コネクタを単純な形状にすることができるので、カード用コネクタにカード保持構造を組み立てる工数の削減を図ることができるからである。
次に、本発明の実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。
図１は、本発明のカード用保持構造を備えた携帯型電子機器の背面図である。
図２は、本発明のカード用保持構造の詳細図である。
図３は、本発明の携帯型電子機器にカードを装着した時の詳細図である。
図４は、本発明の携帯型電子機器にカードを装着する動作を示した断面図である。
図５は、本発明の携帯型電子機器にカードを装着した時の断面図である。
図１と図４を参照すると、本発明のカード保持構造を備えた携帯型電子機器は、少なくともフロントケース１とリアケース２、カード用コネクタ３が搭載された回路基板４を備えており、カード５を装着自在に取り付けられるようになっている。前記カード用コネクタ３は、カード５と接続させるための接触端子部６を備えている。
図２と図３を参照すると、本発明のリアケース２にはカード保持構造が設けられている。カード保持構造は、材料、例えば樹脂の弾性により可動するアーム部８と可動しない固定部７Ａ、固定部７Ｂ１、固定部７Ｂ２とで構成されている。固定部７Ａ、固定部７Ｂ１、固定部７Ｂ２は、リアケース２に一体的に設けられている突起状のものであり、図４に示すように、固定部７Ａは、固定部７Ｂ１、固定部７Ｂ２に対して上下にずれている。リアケース２に設置しているアーム部８は、片持ち梁の様な一端がリアケース２と一体化されている固定端８Ａと、もう一端が自由端８Ｂとで構成されており、引っかけ部９を備えている。従って、アーム部８の自由端８Ｂは固定端８Ａを軸としながら、樹脂の弾性を利用して図３の紙面と平行な面内のβ方向に可動させることができる。また、固定端８Ａ側のアーム部８の根元に備えたＲ形状１０によって、アーム部８を可動させた場合にアーム部８根元に発生する応力を緩和させることができる構成になっている。
本発明のアーム部８は、一実施形態として樹脂の弾性を利用して可動する構成を示しているが、リアケース２とアーム部８とを可動軸によって結合させる構成にし、可動軸を中心にアーム部８を可動させることも可能である。また、引っかけ部９は、アーム部８に一体に成型してもよいし、別部品を取り付けるようにしてもよい。カード用コネクタ３は、カード保持構造を備えておらず最小限の大きさで単純な形状である。
［動作］
次に本発明のカード保持構造の動作について、図を参照して説明する。
まず、カード５を携帯型電子機器に取り付ける場合の動作について説明する。
カード５を携帯型電子機器に取り付ける場合には、図４のようにカード５の先端を固定部７Ａと固定部７Ｂ１、固定部７Ｂ２の間に差し込む。カード５の先端を差し込む際に、固定部７Ｂ１、固定部７Ｂ２によって、リアケース２と回路基板４との間にカード５が潜り込まないようになっている。次に固定部７Ａを支点にし、回転しながらカード５を徐々に倒していくとカード用コネクタ３の接触端子部６に接触する。その後、カード用コネクタ３の接触端子部６よるα方向の力に逆らいつつ、さらに回転しながらカード５を倒していくとアーム部８の引っかけ部９に接触する。このときβ方向にアーム部８の引っかけ部９をカード５に接触しない位置まで可動させれば、カードを水平になるまで押し下げることができる。続いてアーム部８を元の位置まで戻すことにより、アーム部８の引っかけ部９がカード５の天面に引っかかり、カード５を固定することができる。常にカード用コネクタ３の接触端子部６によりα方向の力がカード５に作用しているが、アーム部８の引っかけ部９と固定部７Ａとで抑えることができる。いうまでもなくカード５の面内の移動も抑制される。
ここで、カード５を保持するバランスを考えると固定部７Ａとアーム部８の引っかけ部９は対面にあることが望ましいが、これに限定されるものではなく、固定部７Ａとアーム部８を同じ辺に設置しなければカード５を保持することが可能である。リアケース２の内壁部１１とアーム部８によって、カード５の平面方向について抑えることができる。カード５を装着時には、図４及び図５の状態となる。
次にカード５を取り外すときの動作について説明する。
アーム部８をβ方向に可動させれば、アーム部８の引っかけ部９がカード５から外れる。アーム部８の引っかけ部９によって抑えていたカード用コネクタ３の接触端子部６によるα方向の力を抑えられなくなるので、固定部７Ａを支点としながらカード５を押し上げ、カード５を取り外すことができる。

Claims (6)

  1. カード用コネクタを有する携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造において、前記カード保持構造は、機器ケースに設けられ、カードの厚み方向に働く力を抑えていることを特徴とする携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造。
  2. 前記カード保持構造は、前記機器ケースに可動するアーム部と可動しない固定部を有しており、前記アーム部を可動させることによって、カードの取り外し、固定を可能にしたことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造。
  3. 前記アーム部は、材料の弾性により可動させることを特徴とする請求項２に記載の携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造。
  4. 前記アーム部は、前記機器ケースと可動軸により結合したことを特徴とする請求項２に記載の携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造。
  5. 前記アーム部は、カードが前記機器ケース外へ移行するのを抑える引っかけ部を有することを特徴とする請求項２に記載の携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造。
  6. 前記カードは、加入者識別モジュールカードであることを特徴とする請求項１〜５のいずれかに記載の携帯型電子機器のカード保持構造。
