- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.試料中の分析物の存在又は量の測定方法であって、 (1)前記分析物が移動固相試薬及び磁気応答性試薬の両者と特異的に結合して 前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬と前記分析物を含む複合体を形成するこ とができるときに、前記試料を前記移動固相試薬及び前記磁気応答性試薬の両者 と接触させて反応混合物を形成する段階と、 (2)前記反応混合物中に前記複合体が存在する場合に前記複合体に磁力を加え るように前記反応混合物を磁場に暴露し、前記磁気応答性試薬単独又は前記移動 固相試薬単独とは異なる速度での前記複合体の移動又は捕獲により前記磁力の作 用を発現させる段階と、 (3)前記発現の程度を測定し、前記試料中の前記分析物の存在又は量の尺度と する段階を含む前記方法。 2.前記試料を前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬に順次接触させる請求項 1に記載の方法。 3.前記試料を前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬に同時に接触させる請求 項1に記載の方法。 4.前記磁場で前記結合した磁気応答性試薬の見掛重量変化を検出することによ り発現の程度を測定する請求項1に記載の方法。 5.天秤を使用して前記見掛重量変化を検出する請求項4に記載の方法。 6.視覚装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項1に記載の方法。 7.光学装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項1に記載の方法。 8.位置感知装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項1に記載の方法。 9.前記発現の程度を視覚的に測定する請求項1に記載の方法。 10.前記磁気応答性試薬が特異的結合メンバーに結合した超常磁性材料を含む 請求項1に記載の方法。 11.前記超常磁性材料がフェロフルイドから誘導される請求項10に記載の方 法。 12.試料中の分析物の存在又は量の測定方法であって、 (1)前記分析物が磁気応答性試薬と特異的に結合して前記分析物と前記磁気応 答性試薬を含む第1の複合体を形成すること ができ且つ前記磁気応答性試薬が移動固相試薬と特異的に結合して前記磁気応答 性試薬と前記移動固相試薬を含む第2の複合体を形成することができるときに、 前記試料を前記磁気応答性試薬及び前記移動固相試薬と接触させて反応混合物を 形成する段階と、 (2)前記複合体のいずれかが前記反応混合物中に存在する場合に前記複合体に 磁力を加えるように前記反応混合物を磁場に暴露し、前記磁気応答性試薬単独又 は前記移動固相試薬単独又は前記第1の複合体とは異なる速度での前記第2の複 合体の移動又は捕獲により前記磁力の作用を発現させる段階と、 (3)発現の程度を測定し、前記試料中の前記分析物の存在又は量の尺度とする 段階を含む前記方法。 13.前記試料を前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬に順次接触させる請求 項12に記載の方法。 14.前記試料を前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬に同時に接触させる請 求項12に記載の方法。 15.前記磁場で前記結合した磁気応答性試薬の見掛重量変化を検出することに より発現の程度を測定する請求項12に記載の方法。 16.天秤を使用して前記見掛重量変化を検出する請求項15に記載の方法。 17.視覚装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項12に記載の方法。 18.光学装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項12に記載の方法。 19.位置感知装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項12に記載の方 法。 20.前記発現の程度を視覚的に測定する請求項12に記載の方法。 21.前記磁気応答性試薬が特異的結合メンバーに結合した超常磁性材料を含む 請求項12に記載の方法。 22.前記超常磁性材料がフェロフルイドから誘導される請求項21に記載の方 法。 23.試料中の分析物の存在又は量の測定方法であって、 (1)前記分析物が移動固相試薬と特異的に結合して前記分析物と前記移動固相 試薬を含む第1の複合体を形成することができ且つ磁気応答性試薬が前記移動固 相試薬と特異的に結合して前記磁気応答性試薬と前記移動固相試薬を含む第2の 複合体を 形成することができるときに、前記試料を前記磁気応答性試薬及び前記移動固相 試薬と接触させて反応混合物を形成する段階と、 (2)前記複合体のいずれかが前記反応混合物中に存在する場合に前記複合体に 磁力を加えるように前記反応混合物を磁場に暴露し、前記磁気応答性試薬単独又 は前記移動固相試薬単独又は前記第1の複合体とは異なる速度での前記第2の複 合体の移動又は捕獲により前記磁力の作用を発現させる段階と、 (3)発現の程度を測定し、前記試料中の前記分析物の存在又は量の尺度とする 段階を含む前記方法。 24.前記試料を前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬に順次接触させる請求 項23に記載の方法。 25.前記試料を前記移動固相試薬と前記磁気応答性試薬に同時に接触させる請 求項23に記載の方法。 26.前記磁場で前記結合した磁気応答性試薬の見掛重量変化を検出することに より発現の程度を測定する請求項23に記載の方法。 27.天秤を使用して前記見掛重量変化を検出する請求項26に記載の方法。 28.視覚装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項23に記載の方法。 29.光学装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項23に記載の方法。 30.位置感知装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項23に記載の方 法。 31.前記発現の程度を視覚的に測定する請求項23に記載の方法。 32.前記磁気応答性試薬が特異的結合メンバーに結合した超常磁性材料を含む 請求項23に記載の方法。 33.前記超常磁性材料がフェロフルイドから誘導される請求項32に記載の方 法。 34.試料中の分析物の存在又は量の測定方法であって、 (1)前記分析物が少なくとも2種の異なる磁気応答性試薬と特異的に結合して 前記分析物と前記少なくとも2種の異なる磁気応答性試薬を含む複合体を形成す ることができるときに、前記試料を前記少なくとも2種の異なる磁気応答性試薬 と接触させて反応混合物を形成する段階と、 (2)前記複合体に磁力を加えるように前記反応混合物を磁場 に暴露し、前記異なる磁気応答性試薬単独とは異なる速度での前記複合体の移動 又は捕獲により前記磁力の作用を発現させる段階と、 (3)発現の程度を測定し、前記試料中の前記分析物の存在又は量の尺度とする 段階を含む前記方法。 35.前記試料を前記磁気応答性試薬に順次接触させる請求項34に記載の方法 。 36.前記試料を前記磁気応答性試薬に同時に接触させる請求項34に記載の方 法。 37.前記磁場で前記結合した磁気応答性試薬の見掛重量変化を検出することに より発現の程度を測定する請求項34に記載の方法。 38.天秤を使用して前記見掛重量変化を検出する請求項37に記載の方法。 39.視覚装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項34に記載の方法。 40.光学装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求項34に記載の方法。 41.位置感知装置を使用して前記発現の程度を測定する請求 項34に記載の方法。 42.前記発現の程度を視覚的に測定する請求項34に記載の方法。 43.前記磁気応答性試薬が特異的結合メンバーに結合した超常磁性材料を含む 請求項34に記載の方法。 44.前記超常磁性材料がフェロフルイドから誘導される請求項43に記載の方 法。 45.試料中の分析物の存在又は量の測定装置であって、 (a)反応容器と、 (b)前記反応容器の内容物に磁場を加えるための磁場発生器と、 (c)試料中の分析物の存在又は量の尺度として、磁場発生器により発生される 磁場が反応容器の内容物に及ぼす効果を評価するための測定手段を含む前記装置 。 46.前記測定手段が天秤である請求項28に記載の装置。 47.前記測定手段が複合体中の試薬から未結合試薬を磁気分離することにより 複合体形成の程度を測定するための視覚装置である請求項28に記載の装置。 48.前記測定手段がホール効果トランスデューサーである請 求項28に記載の装置。 49.前記測定手段が光センサーである請求項28に記載の装置。 50.前記測定手段が位置センサーである請求項28に記載の装置。 51.試料中の分析物の存在又は量の測定装置であって、 (a)反応混合物を流すことが可能な少なくとも1個のチャネルと、 (b)前記反応混合物中の成分に磁場を加えるための磁場発生器と、 (c)試料中の分析物の存在又は量の尺度として、磁場発生器により発生される 磁場が反応混合物の成分に及ぼす効果を評価するための測定手段を含む前記装置 。 52.前記測定手段が磁気応答性試薬と移動固相試薬の特異的結合による複合体 形成の程度と未結合磁気応答性試薬の分離を測定するための視覚装置である請求 項51に記載の装置。 53.前記少なくとも1個のチャネルが壁を含み、前記壁が磁場をコード化した 少なくとも1個の部位を含む請求項51に記載の装置。 54.前記磁場が特定特徴をもつ磁気応答性試薬の蓄積を優先的に生じるように 特定勾配及び強度でコード化されている請求項53に記載の装置。 55.前記磁場が特定特徴をもつ複合体の蓄積を優先的に生じるように特定勾配 及び強度でコード化されている請求項53に記載の装置。 56.前記部位がウェブ又はテープを含む請求項53に記載の装置。 57.前記チャネルが少なくとも2層のフィルムを接着することにより形成され ている請求項51に記載の装置。 58.最上層に1個以上の開口を設けて試料の添加部位とした請求項57に記載 の装置。 59.最下層に磁気ベースプレートを接着した請求項57に記載の装置。 60.前記チャネルか光吸収性材料から製造した床をもつ請求項51に記載の装 置。
