- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.脊椎のインプラントであって、 間隙を維持するため隣接する椎骨の間の間隙の内部で係合するために十分な高 さの外側壁、上部骨係合面、下部骨係合面、新しい骨成長をマトリックスの方に 限定するための該係合面間の限定マトリックスを有しており、該限定マトリック スは細孔を有し、そして約2−40容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約98 −60容量%のリン酸三カルシウムを有する二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックを含 有する本体;および 該マトリックスの内部に捕捉された治療的に有効な量の骨成長誘導因子を含ん で成る、前記インプラント。 2.該セラミックが、約1.50ないし約1.60のカルシウム/リン比を有す る、請求項1記載の脊椎のインプラント。 3.該セラミックが、約1.51のカルシウム/リン比を有する、請求項2記載 の脊椎のインプラント。 4.該骨成長誘導因子が、骨形態形成タンパク質である、請求項1記載の脊椎の インプラント。 5.該骨形態形成タンパク質が、BMP-1、BMP-2、BMP-3、BMP-4、BMP-5、BMP-6、 BMP-7、BMP-8、BMP-9、BMP-10、BMP-11、BMP-12およびBMP-13から成る群から選 ばれる、請求項4記載の脊椎のインプラント。 6.該骨形態形成タンパク質が、該群から選ばれる少なくとも二種のBMPから成 る異質二量体である、請求項5記載の脊椎のインプラント。 7.該異質二量体が、BMP-2とBMP-7の異質二量体である、請求項6記載の脊椎の インプラント。 8.該骨形態形成タンパク質が、ウシ抽出BMPである、請求項4記載の脊椎のイ ンプラント。 9.該インプラントが、椎骨の端板の形状に一致させるため腎臓形状の断面を有 する、請求項1記載の脊椎のインプラント。 10.該本体が、矩形である、請求項1記載の脊椎のインプラント。 11.該インプラントが、約1:200以下の骨成長誘導因子対セラミックの重 量比を有する、請求項1記載の脊椎のインプラント。 12.該インプラントが、約1:200と約1:2000の間の骨成長誘導因子 対セラミックの重量比を有する、請求項11記載の脊椎のインプラント。 13.該インプラントが、約1:1250の骨成長誘導因子対セラミックの重量 比を有する、請求項12記載の脊椎のインプラント。 14.該二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックが、約200ミクロンないし約600ミ クロンの細孔の大きさを有する、請求項1記載の脊椎のインプラント。 15.該二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックが、約60%ないし約80%の多孔度を 有する、請求項1記載の脊椎のインプラント。 16.該多孔度が、約70%である、請求項15記載の脊椎のインプラント。 17.該二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックが、約2−20容量%のヒドロキシアパ タイトおよび約80−98容量%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項1記 載の脊椎のインプラント。 18.該二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックが、約5−20%のヒドロキシアパタイ トおよび約80−95%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項17記載の脊 椎のインプラント。 19.該二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックが、約20%のヒドロキシアパタイトお よび約80%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項18記載の脊椎のインプ ラント。 20.骨誘導組成物であって、約2−40容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび 約98−60容量%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する二相リン酸三カルシウムセ ラミック担体;および 該担体の内部で制御された新しい骨形成のための該担体の内部に分散される、 治療的に有効な量の骨成長誘導因子を含んで成る、前記組成物。 21.該セラミック担体が、約2−20容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約 80−98容量%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項20記載の骨誘導組 成物。 22.該セラミック担体が、約5−20容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約 80−95容量%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項21記載の骨誘導組 成物。 23.該セラミック担体が、20容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび80容量 %のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項22記載の骨誘導因子。 24.該セラミック担体が、約1.50ないし約1.60のカルシウム/リン比 を有する、請求項20記載の骨誘導組成物。 25.セラミック担体が、約1.51のカルシウム/リン比を有する、請求項2 4記載の骨誘導組成物。 26.該骨成長誘導因子が、骨形態形成タンパク質である、請求項20記載の骨 誘導組成物。 27.骸骨形態形成タンパク質が、BMP-1、BMP-2、BMP-3、BMP-4、BMP-5、BMP-6 、BMP-7、BMP-8、BMP-9、BMP-10、BMP-11、BMP-12およびBMP-13から成る群から 選ばれる、請求項26記載の骨誘導組成物。 28.該骨形態形成タンパク質が、該群から選ばれる少なくとも二種のBMPから 成る異質二量体である、請求項27記載の骨誘導組成物。 29.該骨形態形成タンパク質が、組換えヒトBMPである、請求項26記載の骨 誘導組成物。 30.該骨形態形成タンパク質が、ウシ抽出BMPである、請求項26記載の骨誘 導組成物。 31.該組成物が、約1:200以下の骨成長誘導因子対セラミック比を有する 、請求項20記載の骨誘導阻止物。 32.該組成物が、約1:200ないし約1:2000の因子対セラミック比を 有する、請求項31記載の骨誘導組成物。 33.該組成物が、約1:1250の因子対セラミック比を有する、請求項32 記載の骨誘導組成物。 34.該セラミック担体が、約60%ないし約80%の多孔度を有する本体であ る、請求項20記載の骨誘導組成物。 35.該多孔度が、約70%である、請求項34記載の骨誘導組成物。 36.該セラミック担体が。約200ミクロンないし約600ミクロンの細孔の 大きさを有する本体である、請求項20記載の骨誘導組成物。 37.セラミック担体が、粒状形である、請求項20記載の骨誘導組成物。 38.骨成長誘導因子の制御された供給のための担体であって、約2−40%の ヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約98−60%のリン酸三カルシウムを有する多孔 質二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックを含んで成り、該セラミックが約1.50ない し約1.60のカルシウム/リン比を有する、前記担体。 39.該セラミックが、約1.51のカルシウム/リン比を有する、請求項38 記載の担体。 40.該セラミックが、約60%ないし約80%の多孔度を有する本体の形であ る、請求項38記載の担体。 41.該多孔度が、約70%である、請求項40記載の担体。 42.該セラミックが、約200ミクロンないし約600ミクロンの細孔の大き さを有する、請求項38記載のセラミック。 43.該セラミックが、約2−20容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約80 −98容量%のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項38記載の担体。 44.該セラミックが、約5−20容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約80 −95容量のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項43記載の担体。 45.該セラミックが、約20容量%のヒドロキシアパタイトおよび約80容量 %のリン酸三カルシウムを含有する、請求項44記載の担体。 46.多孔質セラミック本体の内部に新しい骨の成長を限定するための限定マト リックスを定めるその多孔質セラミック本体;および 約1:200以下の骨成長誘導因子対セラミックの重量比の該セラミックの内 部に捕捉された治療的に有効な量の骨成長誘導因子を含んで成る、インプラント 。 47.該重量比が、約1:200と約1:2000の間で、請求項46記載のイ ンプラント。 48.該重量比が、約1:1250である、請求項47記載のインプラント。 49.該セラミックが、二相燐酸カルシウムセラミックである、請求項46記載 のインプラント。 50.該骨成長誘導因子が、骨形態形成タンパク質である、請求項46記載のイ ンプラント。
