Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)であ って、複数の中空繊維プライ(31;33)から成る前記本体(30;30A; 30B;30C;30D;56)の形式で配置された1枚の中空繊維マット(2 0)を含み、 前記マット(20)は、規則的間隔を持って配置された複数の中空繊維群(2 2)と、前記中空繊維群(22)を保持する複数の接続繊維群(24)とから成 り、 前記マット(20)は、それぞれが前記中空繊維群(22)と斜角(σ)をな す折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)に沿ってそれ自体の上に覆 うように反復的に折り畳まれ、前記多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B; 30C;30D;56)の任意のプライ(31)の前記中空繊維群(22)が前 記多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)の隣接す る次のプライ(33)の中空繊維群(22)と交差するように配置される前記多 層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)を形成する、 多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)。 2.前記折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)は互いに略平行で ある、請求の範囲第1項に記載の多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;3 0C;30D;56)。 3.前記中空繊維群(22)と前記折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・F L−N)との間の前記斜角(σ)は、ほぼ1〜15度の間である、請求の範囲第 1、2項のいずれかに記載の多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C :30D;56)。 4.前記マット(20)は細長く、前記中空繊維群は前記マット (20)の延長方向に対して斜角(σ)をなして延在し、前記折り目線((FL −1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)は前記マット(20)の延長方向と略垂直を なしている、請求の範囲第1〜3項のいずれかに記載の多層中空繊維本体(30 ;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)。 5.前記接続繊維群(24)は、規則的な間隔を持って配置され、前記マット (20)の延長方向に略延在し、前記接続繊維群(24)は前記中空繊維群(2 2)と織り合わされて前記繊維群(22および24)を前記マット(20)内に 保持した、請求の範囲第4項に記載の多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B ;30C;30D;56)。 6.前記接続繊維群(24)は、 略規則的な間隔で配置され、前記マット(20)の長手方向に略延在する実質 的に中実である、請求の範囲第4、5項のいずれかに記載の多層中空繊維本体( 30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)。 7.前記中空繊維群(22)は、それぞれ管腔(26)および前記管腔(26 )を画定する壁(28)を含み、前記壁(28)は前記中空繊維(22)の壁を 通して液体を除くガスが移動できる多孔質である、請求の範囲第1〜6項のいず れかに記載の多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56 )。 8.前記多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56) は、マニフォルド(32A;32B;32C;32D;54)上に略アーチ状構 造に形成される、請求の範囲第1〜7項のいずれかに記載の多層中空繊維本体( 30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)。 9.前記マニフォルド(32A;32B;32C;32D;54) に隣接する前記プライは内部プライを構成し、前記マニフォルド(32A;32 B;32C;32D;54)から遠く離れた前記プライは外部プライを構成し、 プライに沿う折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)の間の距離は、 プライが外部プライにより近くなるとより大きくなる、請求の範囲第8項に記載 の多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)。 10.任意のプライに沿う前記折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・FL−N )の間の距離は、任意の他のプライに沿う前記折り目線(FL−1;FL−2; ・・・FL−N)の間の距離と同じである、請求の範囲第1〜8項のいずれかに 記載の多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)。 11.多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)を 製造する方法であって、 中空繊維群(22)が互いに略平行となるようにマット(20)を形成するべ く前記中空繊維群(22)および接続繊維群(24)を織り合わせるステップと 、 多層中空繊維本体(30;30A;30B;30C;30D;56)の任意の プライ(31)の前記中空繊維群(22)が前記多層中空繊維本体(30;30 A;30B;30C;30D;56)の隣接する次のプライ(33)の前記中空 繊維群(22)と交差するように配置されてなる前記多層中空繊維本体(30; 30A;30B;30C;30D;56)を形成するべく前記中空繊維群(22 )と斜角(σ)をなす折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)に沿っ て前記マット(20)をそれ自体の上に覆い重なるように反復的に折り畳むステ ップと、からなる方法。 12.前記マット(20)をそれ自体の上に覆い重なるように反復的に折り畳 む前記ステップは、前記マット(20)の延長方向と 略垂直をなす略平行折り目線(FL−1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)に沿って 前記マット(20)を折り畳むステップをさらに含む、請求の範囲第11項に記 載の方法。 13.前記マット(20)の延長方向と略垂直をなす略平行折り目線(FL− 1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)に沿って前記マット(20)を折り畳む前記ス テップは、前記マット(20)の延長方向と略垂直をなし、前記マットの任意の プライが他のプライの長さにほぼ等しい長さを折り目線(FL−1;FL−2; ・・・FL−N)の間に有するように等間隔に配置される略平行折り目線(FL −1;FL−2;・・・FL−N)に沿って前記マット(20)を折り畳むステ ップをさらに含む、請求の範囲第12項に記載の方法。
