Abstract

A method of treating the atmosphere in greenhouses and other sheltered enclosures and an installation for implanting this method involve selectively taking in air to be used to create the atmosphere in the shelter or the greenhouse from inside or outside the shelter or greenhouse, subjecting this air to at least one filtering operation, at least one controlled humidification operation comprising at least one stage for extracting the liquid phase present in the air, at least one operation for adjusting the temperature of the air and, finally admitting the thus treated air into the shelter or greenhouse, with optional additive agents appropriate for specific treatment of the plants, using a regular means of circulation opposing any formation of draughts and maintaining the inside atmosphere at a controlled pressure, excess heat may optionally be removed from the atmosphere for heating the soil or subsoil, the moisture content of the soil or subsoil may optionally be monitored
