Abstract

962,902. Spraying apparatus. SOLO KLEINMOTOREN G.m.b.H. June 21, 1963 [June 26, 1962], No. 24692/63. Heading B2F. A motor driven distributer for powder or liquid pesticides adapted for carrying on the back comprises a pesticide container 1 and carrier frame 3 of supporting members 4 and back plate 5 constructed as a unit in one piece from a plastics material. Lugs 6 formed in the plate 5 support a motor compressor unit 13, 14 whilst plate apertures 7 are provided for carrier straps 8. A U-shaped tubular member 10 having arms 9 forms a stand for the distributer when not being carried and this member, the arms of which project into the lower ends of the members 4, is surrounded with plastics material in the production operation during which the container 1, members 4 and plate 5 are blow-moulded. In a further embodiment a petrol tank is incorporated in the carrier frame and container unit whilst in yet another construction the back plate is hollow forming part of the container.
