Abstract

820,123. Injection moulding-machines. MASCHINENFABRIK & GIESSEREI NETSTAL A. G. May 24, 1956 [May 27, 1955], No. 16120/56. Class 87(2). The nozzle head of an injection machine for moulding e.g. polyvinyl chloride, is provided with a homogenization device in the form of a flow passage 14 having outlet and inlet nozzles 7, 6. The flow sectional area of nozzle 7 is greater than that of nozzle 6 in a ratio which varies between 2 : 1 and 7 : 1. The front nozzle may have only one opening and the rear nozzle between 3 and 12 openings. The flow passage 14 is heated by devices 3 and increases in diameter towards its outlet.
