[Class 39 (ii)] A projection lamp for cinematograph work has a mirror surface 1 formed on the exterior or interior of the glass bulb of such shape as to reflect the light from the filament 5 to a point outside the bulb and so that the exposure aperture 7 may intercept the whole of the convergent beam 8. The reflecting portion may be spherical, ellipsoidal, paraboloidal or of other shape. The figure shows the first, with the filament 5 arranged beyond the focus F of the spherical surface.
