Abstract

575,109. Manure distributors. SCHICKLE, H. T., and MONRO, Ltd., G. Feb. 28, 1944, No. 3644. [Class 6 (i)] The perforated base 9 of a fertilizer container 1 is shaken by the impact of a spring-pressed bolt 7 which is reciprocated through a twoarmed lever 14 from a sprocket 5 on the landwheel axle 3. The tension of the spring 8 is adjustable. Windscreens 25 are mounted below each side of the container. A plate 35 may close the perforations in the base 9. The container-lid 22 is formed with an extension 23 to cover the gearing.
