A STEAM PAPER STRIPPING MACHINE
FIELD OF THE INVENTION [1] The present invention relates to an electrical appliance for decoration use, and more specifically to a steam paper stripping machine.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [2] Wallpaper is a widely-applied house decoration material. Wallpaper of various patterns and colors makes an entire room neat and pleasing. Everyone may choose his/her preferable wallpaper to improve living comfort. However, due to failure of the adhesive for gluing the wallpaper or due to other factors such as the wallpaper becoming damped, the wallpaper has a limited service life. After several years of use, the wallpaper will be likely worn, particularly the edges and corners of the wallpaper will be curled, which affects the aesthetic appearance. Further, redecoration of a house always requires clean removal of the old wallpaper. However, in the existing approaches, the old wallpaper is always tom off by hand or removed by a spade. Besides a low work efficiency, such approaches can hardly completely remove the wallpaper and possibly damage the integrity of walls.
[3] In order to solve the drawbacks and defects of manual removal of old wallpaper, a paper stripping machine for stripping wallpaper has been devised and developed. The working principle of the paper stripping machine is to heat water into water steam using a heating device, soften the wallpaper with the water steam, and then cleanly remove the softened wallpaper.
[4] However, for an existing steam-type paper stripping machine, the heating device is usually directly disposed within a water tank; at each time of use, the heating device heats and vaporizes all water in the tank. A long heating time is taken from heating to vaporizing, and a user has to wait for a certain period of time; therefore, the work efficiency is very low. In addition, the water needed for the wallpaper removing work at each time is not fixed, but the heating device heats all water within the water thank. Consequently, if the water as fed exceeds the water required by work, it is a waste to heat extra part of the water, which lowers the utilization.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [5] In order to solve the drawbacks and defects in the prior art, the present invention provides a steam paper stripping machine for softening wallpaper after heating and vaporizing part of water.
[6] In order to achieve the technical objective above, the steam paper stripping machine according to the present invention comprises a machine body, a heating boiler, and a steam discharge device, a water tank with a water outlet hole being provided on the machine body, a water flowing channel in communication with the water outlet hole being provided between the heating boiler and the water tank and on the water tank, the steam discharge device being connected to the heating boiler; the steam paper stripping machine further comprises an opening/closing mechanism that has a sealing element for controlling opening/closing of the water flow channel or opening/closing of the water outlet hole.
[7] Preferably, the sealing element cooperates with the water outlet hole to control the opening/closing of the water outlet hole; the opening/closing mechanism further comprises a push rod and a reset element disposed on the push rod or connected to the sealing element, the push rod being for driving the sealing element to move to open the water outlet hole, the reset element being for driving the push rod or the sealing element to move to close the water outlet hole.
[8] Preferably, the push rod is disposed on the water tank, one end of the push rod projecting through the water outlet hole into the water tank, the sealing element being fixedly sleeved onto an end portion of the push rod projecting into the water tank, or the sealing element being integrally provided with the end portion of the push rod projecting into the water tank.
[9] Preferably, the reset element is a spring; an end portion of the push rod projecting beyond the water tank is provided with a limiting part for limiting the spring, the spring being disposed between an outer wall of the water tank and the limiting part and being in a compressed state.
[10] Preferably, a water feeding port is provided at a bottom wall of the water tank or in a sidewall close to the bottom wall of the water tank; the water tank comprises a water tank lid for opening and closing the water feeding port, a water outlet hole being provided on the water tank lid; in the water tank lid is further provided a through hole cooperating with the push pod and communicating with the water outlet hole, a gap being provided between an inner wall of the through hole and an outer wall of the push rod.
[11] Preferably, a surface of the sealing element in cooperation with the water outlet hole is of a tapered stage shape or a trapezoidal stage shape, and a surface of the sealing element facing a center of the water tank is greater than a surface of the sealing element facing the outer wall of the water tank.
[12] Preferably, the heating boiler comprises a boiler body; a water receiving cavity and a water inlet port for communicating between the water flow channel and the water receiving cavity being provided on the boiler body, one end of the water flow channel in communication with the water outlet hole being higher than one end of the water flow channel in communication with the water inlet port.
[13] Preferably, a drain port communicating with the water receiving cavity is provided at a bottom of the boiler body, the boiler body further comprising an end cap in sealing fit with the drain port.
[14] Preferably, the steam discharge device comprises a steam discharge pipe and a steam discharge spray head, a steam inlet port and a steam discharge hole being provided in the stream discharging spray head, a steam outlet port in communication with the water receiving cavity being provided at a top of the boiler body, two ends of the steam discharge pipe being in sealing connection to the steam outlet port and the steam inlet port.
[15] Preferably, the heating boiler comprises a heating device, the heating device comprising a heating element and a heating circuit that controls a working state of the heating element, a temperature control switch and/or a thermal fuse being provided on the heating circuit.
[16] With the technical solution above, the steam paper stripping machine provided by the present invention has the following advantages:
[17] 1. The heating boiler and the water tank are separately disposed, such that the heating boiler only heats and vaporizes the water flowing into the heating boiler; in this way, shorter time is taken from starting to heat to vaporizing, which boosts a higher heating efficiency; in addition, because only the water in the heating boiler is heated, energy utilization is high; the opening/closing mechanism with a sealing element opens the water outlet hole when the water tank is disposed on the machine body, such that the water flow channel is in an opened state, which facilitates the water in the tank to flow into the heating boiler;
[18] 2. The push rod drives the sealing element to open the water outlet hole and the reset element drives the sealing element or the push rod to move to close the water outlet hole, facilitating enhancement of use performance of the opening/closing mechanism, such that the opening/ closing mechanism can timely respond to position change of the water tank relative to the machine body, thereby satisfying use requirements;
[19] 3. The push rod is disposed on the water tank and one end of the push rod projecting into the water tank, such that when the water tank is disposed on the machine body, the push rod moves to drive movement of the sealing element to open the water outlet hole; the water in the water tank flows into the water flow channel through the water outlet hole and the gap between the through hole and the push rod;
[20] 4. The spring is a common reset element and always in a compressed state; when the water tank is separated from the machine body, the spring force of the spring causes the sealing element to abut against the water outlet hole, avoiding water leakage from the water tank via the water outlet hole; when the water tank is disposed on the machine body, the spring is further compressed; after the water tank is separated from the machine body, the push rod drives the sealing element to move during the spring resetting process to close the water outlet hole;
[21] 5. The water outlet hole is disposed in the water tank lid, such that it is only needed to provide a water feeding port for the water tank, which saves processing steps of the water tank while enhances the strength of the water tank;
[22] 6. The surface of the sealing element in cooperation with the water outlet hole is of a tapered stage shape or a trapezoid stage shape, which may enhance the sealing fit between the sealing element and the water outlet hole and avoid water leakage from the water tank;
[23] 7. One end of the water flow channel in communication with the water outlet hole is higher than one end of the water flow channel in communication with the water inlet port, such that when the water tank is disposed on the machine body, because the outer outlet hole is higher than the water inlet port, the water in the water tank flows, under the action of the hydraulic pressure of its own, into the water receiving cavity of the boiler body along the water flow channel;
[24] 8. A temperature control switch and/or thermal fuse are provided on the heating circuit to prevent burnout of the heating circuit caused by continued heating without water in the water receiving tank, which enhances safety of use;
[25] 9. A drain port in communication with the water receiving cavity and an end cap in sealing fit with the drain port are provided at the bottom of the boiler body, which facilitates draining remnant water inside the boiler body when the work is over;
[26] 10. Water steam is formed after the water in the receiving cavity is heated; the water steam is available for use after rising through the steam discharge pipe and being ejected out through the steam discharge spray head.

The through hole 22 is provided at the center of the partition plate 26.
[43] In order to facilitating mounting of the water tank lid 24 and guarantee sealing fit between the water tank lid and the water feeding port 23, a threaded fit is adopted between the water tank lid 24 and the water tank 2, and the water tank lid has a planarly laid sealing ring 27.
[44] The heating boiler 3 comprises a boiler body and a heating device, the heating boiler being disposed external to the water tank 2 and on the machine body 1, the boiler body being provided with a water receiving cavity 41 and a water inlet port 42 in communication with the water receiving cavity, at a top of the boiler body 4 being provided a steam outlet port 43 in communication with the water receiving cavity 41, and at a bottom of the boiler body being provided with a drain port 44 in communication with the water receiving cavity; the boiler body further comprises an end cap 45 in detachable sealing connection with the drain port.
[45] The heating device comprises a heating element 61 and a heating circuit for controlling a working state of the heating element. In order to prevent burnout of the heating circuit when the heating element heats too long without water in the water receiving cavity 41, a temperature control switch 62 and a thermal fuse 63 are provided on the heating circuit.
[46] In this embodiment, the boiler body 4 comprises an upper boiler body 46 and a lower boiler body 47 in sealing fit, the lower boiler body having a larger thickness, and the heating element 61 is disposed inside the lower boiler body.
[47] In this embodiment, the water flow channel comprises a gap between the machine body 1 and the water tank 2 and a water pipe 9 that diverts water within the machine body into the water inlet port 42; a bottom of the machine body 1 is provided with a water outlet port 12; two ends of the water pipe are in sealing connection to the water outlet port 12 and the water inlet port 41, respectively; one end of the water flow channel in communication with the water outlet hole is higher than one end of the water flow channel in communication with the water inlet port.
[48] The steam discharge device comprises a steam discharge pipe 7 and a steam discharge spray head; a steam inlet port 84 and a steam discharge hole are provided on the steam discharge spray head; two ends of the steam discharge pipe 7 are in sealing connection to the steam outlet port 43 on the boiler body 4 and the steam inlet port 84 on the steam discharge spray head, respectively.
[49] In the embodiment above, the steam discharge spray head may be provided with various shapes; the steam discharge holes in the steam discharge spray head may be set dependent on purposes of use and shapes of the steam discharge spray head. Further, the steam discharge spray head may be a series of spray heads in different structures or shapes, e.g., a protective bat, a nozzle 82, or a steam spraying brush 83, as shown in Figs. 3, 4, and 5, respectively. Correspondingly, a detachable connection structure may be adopted between the steam discharge pipe 7 and the steam discharge spray head, facilitating changing of different steam discharge spray heads dependent on purposes of use or usage conditions. With the protective bat as an example, when two ends of the steam discharge pipe are respectively connected to the machine and the protective bat, steam will come out of the protective bat in about 50 seconds after the power switch is turned on, and then the machine is ready for use, achieving an effect of fast heating to vaporize. After the machine heats, the steam is conveyed to the protective bat along the steam discharge pipe, and then the protective bat is placed on the wall; the wallpaper will be softened by steam; finally, the wallpaper is stripped off.
[50] During use, the steam discharge spray head is selected and assembled with the steam discharge pipe 7 according to positions of the wallpaper. The water tank lid 24 is opened to feed water into the water tank 2; after the water is fed, the water tank lid 24 is screwed tightly. The water tank 2 is placed on the machine body 1; the push rod 52 drives the sealing element 51 to move towards inside of the water tank to open the water outlet hole 21; the water in the water tank automatically flows, under action of its own gravity, into the water receiving cavity 41 of the boiler body 4 along the water outlet hole 21, the through hole 22, and the water flow channel. The heating circuit is turned on; the heating element 61 heats the water in the water receiving cavity 41; steam from boiled water rises along the steam outlet port 43 and the steam pipe 7 into the steam discharge spray head; the steam discharge spray head faces the wallpaper position; the steam is attached onto the wallpaper to soften the wallpaper, heat and damp the adhesive to make it ineffective. After a certain time of softening, the wallpaper is removed with a tool.
[51] Water supply between the water tank 2 and the water receiving cavity 41 is implemented through a hydraulic pressure difference generated by height difference; the hydraulic pressure in the water tank and the hydraulic pressure in the water receiving cavity always maintain balanced.
[52] When the water receiving cavity 41 has no water supply such that the water within the water receiving cavity runs dry while the heating element 61 still heats, after the temperature control switch 62 senses that the temperature inside the boiler body 4 exceeds a certain temperature value, the temperature control switch automatically switches off to cut off the heating circuit, and then the heating element 61 stops heating. When the temperature control switch 62 senses that the temperature inside the boiler body 4 is lower than a certain temperature value, the temperature control switch is closed to conduct the heating circuit, and the heating element continues heating.
[53] When the temperature control switch 62 fails, the heating element 61 continues heating; when the thermal fuse 63 senses that the temperature inside the boiler body 4 exceeds a certain temperature value, the thermal fuse blows, the power supply of the whole machine is turned off, and the heating element 61 stops heating. At this point, for restart of the whole machine, the thermal fuse needs to be changed, which enhances the safety of use of the whole machine.
[54] After the work is over, the water tank 2 is separated from the machine body 1; the sealing element 51 is reset to seal the water outlet hole 21 under the action of the reset element 53, so as to prevent water leakage from the water tank 2. The end cap 45 is opened, and the water inside the water receiving cavity 41 is drained along the drain port 44, thereby clearing away the remnant water inside the boiler body 4.
[55] Besides the preferred embodiments above, the present invention also has other embodiments. Those skilled in the art may make various kinds of alternations and variations to the present invention. Without departing from the spirit of the present invention, all of such alternations and variations fall within the scope defined in the claims of the present invention.
