Abstract

Hair-curling appliances.-A hair-waving device comprises an elongated tapering metal body a, Figs. 2 and 3, of the cross-section shown in Fig. 5, to which is pivoted at b an outer metal case. c of corresponding cross-section and of such form as substantially to enclose and compress the hair wound upon the body a. The outer case has a longitudinal opening c<1>, the edges c<2> of which are turned back, and thumb pieces c, e<1> provided to facilitate the closing of the device. The end d of the body a is slotted to engage the hair.
