Abstract
196,011. Plantation Rubber Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Luffsmith, W., and Dessau, M. M. Nov. 11, 1921. Pouches.-The outer surface of the pocket a, Fig. 1, of a tobacco-pouch is provided with a strip c of a.bsorbent material such as spongy indiarubber, adapted to be moistened, uniformly united to an indiarubber covering strip d attached to the pocket at its ends. Perforations e in the pocket are to facilitate the moistening of the contents. As shown in Fig. 3, the absorbent material f is disposed under a lip g formed at the edge of the pocket. The pouch may be of natural smoked sheet or crepe indiarubber.
