Valve-gear.-Axial adjustment of the cam shaft A and bevel-gear B is obtained by providing the shaft with an extension C carrying oppositely screwed nuts E, F arranged at opposite sides of an abutment D<3>, between which and the nuts are arranged thrust bearings G, H. The abutment D<3> is preferably formed by the end of the divided casing D, D<2>.
