1343919 7-Substituted 2,3,5,6-tetrahydro- 4H-1,2-diazepin-3-ones SYNTHELABO SA 15 Dec 1971 [16 Dec 1970] 58274/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises the title compounds, wherein the 7-substituent (Ar) is a carbocyclic or heterocyclic group, and a process for making them by reacting with a 4-ArCO-butanoic acid, hydrazine which may be substituted depending on the substituent desired in the 2- position of the product. Therapeutic compositions having psychotropic activity comprise the title compounds, which may be administered orally, rectally or parenterally.
