Abstract

1,223,634. Corrosion resistant Ni-Cr steels. BOHLER & CO. A.G. GEB. June 19, 1968 [June 19, 1967], No.29220/68. Heading C7A. A corrosion resistant steel comprises:- C up to 0.15% Cr 16-25% Ni 10-25% N 0À08-0À2% Si 2-6% and Mn0-6%, the balance, apart from impurities, being Fe. The steel in the welded or unwelded state is resistant to corrosion by oxidizing acids such as HNO 3 and, when used as a filler material, especially for welding similar materials, the alloy preferably contains up to 20% delta ferrite.
