Abstract

1,203,359. Dispensing liquids under gaseous pressure. R. H. ABPLANALP. Dec. 19, 1968 [Jan. 8, 1968], No. 60412/68. Heading F1R. A pressurized dispenser for dispensing two separately-stored liquids simultaneously, e. g. two compositions containing an oxidant and a reducing agent, respectively, for producing hot shaving lather, comprises an outer container 10 for one liquid and an inner flexible container 20 for the other liquid, discharge being controlled by a main valve 16 coupled to a secondary valve 45 controlling ports 38 leading to container 20. The inner container is in the form of a collapsible tube surrounding, and sealed at its lower end 22 to a dip tube 19 extending from discharge valve housing 17 into the outer container. The propellant pressure in the outer container acts to collapse the inner container to discharge its contents with the outer container contents when the discharge valve assembly is opened. The bottom of the inner container is closed by pinching opposite sides together, the material of the inner container and the dip tube preferably being the same to facilitate bonding, e.g. plastics.
