Abstract

1295610 Cable terminations KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE AG 19 April 1971 [13 Feb 1970] 21627/71 Heading H2E A termination for a single-phase power cable, of which the conductor wires 2 are stranded around a metal tube 1 carrying a cooling medium, comprises a brass supporting sleeve 5 inserted between the tube 1 and wires 2, a cable socket 6 which is disposed around and pressed on to the wires, and an outer body 9 of court polyurethane resin. The cable socket 6, which is of copper, is provided with a connecting lug 7. The outer body 9 may alternatively. be built up by winding tape around the cable socket.
